The title of this thread always makes me chuckle. An "official" "clone" sounds like an oxymoron. Aren't all clones unofficial by their very nature? Someone should start the official clone of the official clone of the Avalon.

I think you should read it like this: {Official {Avalon {mining rig} clones} thread}
So it would be the "official" discussion thread for their Avalon mining rig clone product.

You have a 12 Pin cable in a 10 pin PDU input that terminates in a 10 pin output into controller at 10 pins.    Huh

Hope that doesn't make it to actual units and is a result of lacking correct housings for now Smiley

Don't worry this is just the first prototype, we were just in a hurry to assemble everything Wink

"We have been assembling prototypes of Bitcoin miners since 2010, when GPUs used to be the best choice. Going rapidly through some FPGA mining prototypes, we are now selling bitcoin mining devices based on Avalon’s A3256Q48 ASIC mining chip, while in the meantime our Research & Development team is already working on our own, next generation high performance ASIC mining chip."

Bullshits. This deal is similar to TerraHash and BitAxe, hence scam.

I find it incredible how little content is needed for many here to send money out. Looook, they have few PCBs and website, they must be legit!  Cheesy

Wow  Cool  what if we invite you to our offices to check the working prototype? Are we still scammers after that?

Cross-post in all threads of projects that are registered for Avalon sample chips from my order.

Delivery of sample chips seems to have started.

If you have chips ordered with me that you want to support this project with, do it now.

If you are the owner of this project, please provide me your shipping address.

I don't care if you have working prototype or not (post images and videos of it if you have it), complete deal looks totally scammy to me. I'm
supposed to belive someone who is in Bitcoin from 2010 does not have years-old account here? I won't buy that, neither I'll buy that you have
anything more to show here except some PCBs with components on them which is something I myself can make in less than a day.

LOL yeah I forgot, I'm not supposed to be able to mine if I wasn't registered to bitcointalk, makes completely sense  Grin

BREAKING NEWS

We just received the update from Avalon with the tracking number of our ASIC chip samples (EMS shipment, it's in Bejing now).

This will allow us to be able to finish the working prototype within very short time and post a video proof, hopefully the samples will be enough to assemble at least one module, if not we hope to reach that quote thanks to the help of our supporters and customer that bought somewhere else from group buys.

We will keep you updated!

Well I do, because I like looking at the facts, rather than...

complete deal looks totally scammy to me.

...rather than swallowing unsubstantiated claims.

I'm supposed to belive someone who is in Bitcoin from 2010 does not have years-old account here? I won't buy that, neither I'll buy that you have anything more to show here except some PCBs with components on them which is something I myself can make in less than a day.

My first BTC was mined with CPUs in late 2011, but I never felt the need to register (i.e. post) here either before 2013. Some people like to STFU until they have something useful to say, and they can read a forum without registering.

If you don't feel safe about this project, don't buy it, but you shouldn't call it a scam because these guys didn't have 2 years old accounts on this forum. By the way, your account is 2013 too...

My account is from 2013. yes but I'm not asking for others' coins, chips or whatever. For the stuff on sale at Bitcoin Megastore, there is 30-days
money back guarantee
provided by CafePress. Out of 30+ items already sold not even one was returned but even if some items ends returned it
won't be my fault. If you check a little, it is very clear who you are dealing with there and what is the deal about but that can not be said for deal
on this and so many other threads on this forum because major lack of info.

Ok, so thank you for your precious feedback and insight about scammers and the care about other ppl money!
Thank you also for your adv about your 30+ sold items!

now you are free to save other users on other threads, thanks  Grin

Yep, unfortunately believe it or not, 99% of our customers paid with wire transfer, so we're now stuck with Mt.Gox and its crappy nonsense limit of 100 BTC/day of cashout. We're trying to push them to upgrade us from verified to trusted users, but for now we're limited this way  Angry  the first order of the next 10K batch will go out in a couple of days as soon as we receive & verify the sample chips, the next ones will follow very soon too and proof will be posted as usual.

These limitations are not new, you should know this long time before ...

Yes we knew, but Mt.Gox didn't accept our documents to get verified, so we had to resend them. Everything had to be done with regular mail because they needed the original documents with the attorney's postille, basically we're behind this from weeks now.

Anyway, this won't affect the delivery of batch 2 as there's still time to get the chips and respect the promised delivery terms.  Smiley

Yah, MtSux is slowly(?) getting worse than paypal when it comes to extending your limits / becoming trusted.
