I think it is not enough. There is too low for making a good promotion and marketing. I do not know, what devs will do in the future with it.

I like the project ideea, the website and the team but to be honest my intuition tells me the same...the project might not have a great future with this "small" raised amount. But lets be optimistic because other projects evolved with less money in the past.

Some projects will less funding go on to do much better, it isn't always the funding - It is the team behind the project and the project itself. They can also sell of some MDN tokens to keep funding the project. Other coins like STRATIS raised less than half a million at their ICO and they hit $1b market cap.. 9 years ago Bitcoin wasn't worth $350k so I would disagree it is a small amount, it is all about perspective and the teams capability to work with what they have, they seem competent so I'd expect that is a good amount of money to get Meridian on the radar and then attract the right people to the project.

I agree with you but things are a bit different nowadays because almost all the exchanges require big amounts of money to list a new coin. From what budget will they pay those taxes?

You are very wrong thing that you say. Bittrex listing is free and only cost 3BTC for spotlight advertise
bittrex say on their own site this thing, very cheap to list big exchange actually

many exchange always state same in terms service that listing is free. all you need to do is conduct research before speak to find this
even without ico many product launche with zero fund collect and list on big exchange. fund collect from ico is only bonus for good team

I think we just need be patience with the team, the token is ERC20 now and it can hit on Etherdelta with no doubt, and i believe the dev team will push it forward as they are active on this thread

Oh no they only raised a few hundred thousand.. Are you serious? That will keep the project alive for at least 6m-1 year.

After that if they have done well the price of each MDN token will be higher and they can sell small amounts to keep the project development going.
