As we draw closer to the months end we’d like to take this opportunity to bring you guys up to speed on recent developments.

The main objective on our agenda is exchange placement.

Expanding on this, as many of you are aware, most of the high volume exchanges have adopted the practice of disabling new user registrations due to an overwhelming surge of sign ups from new market entrants.

This is causing lines of communication to be disrupted, and broken down as these exchanges rush to build infrastructure to support this increased footfall.

For the Meridian team, exchange placement is a vital piece of our overall deployment strategy.

Rest assured we are working relentlessly to ensure that placement is achieved in timely fashion — however should it become necessary to push back our projected listing date, this is an option that will be explored.

The main exchanges are under extensive pressure at the moment to respond to several users who are enduring the effects of what happens when small platforms are ‘forced’ into growing.

As such, response times are expanding and things — in general — are taking longer, across the board.

In past updates we mentioned that listing with a high quality exchange, with a long history in the market is the most desirable outcome for Meridian — and this is still the case.

With this being so, we will not be listing with any of the ‘decentralised’ exchanges — one of which was recently compromised causing users to lose funds.

In short, the effort continues.

The Meridian team is hard at work to ensure a safe and secure roll out of MDN into a live trading environment.


New MDN Tokens

We have begun the process of broadcasting new MDN tokens to those who were holding balances prior to our recent supply contraction.

Slight delays have been caused due to the Ethereum network being highly congested, causing transactions to grind to a halt.

During the delivery process, some errors have occurred causing two addresses to be overfunded. We were informed by the owners of both addresses, who will be returning the additional tokens shortly.

Over the last few hours, the Ethereum network has been less congested — and we have finally been able to blast more transactions through.

So those of you who are waiting to receive new tokens can expect to receive your deposit very soon.


Bounties

Regarding bounty distribution, things are still the same on this front.

Provided that you are listed on our spreadsheets, you will receive your full stake 7 days (one week) after exchange placement.

Rest assured, there are no planned adjustments in this area — and, as always, we shall be keeping you guys updated as things progress.
