Bringing you all up to speed we announce that all Meridian Bounty rewards have officially been served.

Moving forward – as you all are already aware, an MDN/ETH trading pair is now available on the ForkDelta exchange.

Though we cannot comment on any issue related to price speculation, we remain confident that ForkDelta is a suitable venue for these early stages of live trading.

Secondary listing will be achieved during Q3 2019 – which we can confirm will be with a larger platform.

Prior to that, we intend to release the updated Roadmap for the Meridian project.

The new Roadmap will shed details on our upcoming brand revamp, Secondary Listing and the Beta version of the Meridian Loans Platform (MLP).




The Meridian Loans Platform

The centrepiece of the Meridian ecosystem is our Bitcoin Loans Platform.

For those of you who are new to the project, Meridian is a digital asset that is designed to be used in combination with Bitcoin.

Via our MLP Platform — Meridian tokens can be used as collateral to secure bitcoin loans of higher value than the cumulative value of the MDN tokens initially pledged as collateral.

In addition to this, repayment rewards will also be served to users via the platform — as incentive to build repayment history.

MLP users will not be able to derive any benefit from the platform without first being in possession of an MDN balance, which must be purchased from an exchange — thus adding a form of incentive and intrinsic value to MDN tokens.

Through MLP, users will be able to obtain a secured micro-loan (Bitcoin denominated) and each of these loans must be secured with a specific amount of MDN tokens pledged as collateral, to be released back to the user once his full loan repayment has been confirmed.

We aim to release MLP (beta) during Q3 2019.

Once compliance with FCA (UK) regulations is finalised, we will be charged with bringing together a suitable team to ensure that the beta version of the platform is suitable enough to allow us to run a series of live testing, during which time we will trial distribution of $10,000 (BTC Equivalent) in secured loans.



New Roadmap

The updated Meridian Roadmap is due to be released during the third week of April.

The map will provide official dates for our upcoming brand revamp, secondary exchange listing and the release of MLP beta.

Overall, we are committed to slowly and tactfully building infrastructure around the Meridian project — to ensure a lengthy stay in this market.

MDN is already listed on the ForkDelta exchange.

Therefore our Q3 2019 placement, is for our 'secondary' listing.

We're aware that some are commenting on the lack of volume on ForkDelta, unfortunately - we cannot add to this line of commentary since these are issues relating to price speculation which is not in our remit.

For now - ForkDelta remains the sole platform on which an MDN/ETH trading pair exists.

Moving on, our intent to build a solid Bitcoin loans platform remains strong and we would want to specify that the platform being produced is not being put together for the sole benefit of price speculators. This is a key point referenced in the official Meridian Whitepaper.

It would be convenient to announce that the release of MLP will occur sometime this year - however, we must highlight that producing a platform such as this is not a trivial task. 18 Months is a reasonable timeframe which will enable us to do the work that needs to be done.

To those making reference to the absence of price action on ForkDelta, we cannot pass comment on that since that is in the realm of price speculation and, legally, we cannot dictate, control or conspire to control or influence market forces.

However, we are optimistic that - naturally, activity will occur.

They are working on building a platform and it hasn't been long since the ICO, if it was a couple years with this amount of progress I would be worried but it hasn't so I'm not worried at all. Things take time to develop and many people expect instant daily developments which isn't realistic. I'll see where the team are in a couple years and judge then.

It can be seen that a further exchange may take a little longer after a year. But I trust the Meridian team to believe that it will be worthwhile to wait and support this process as long as it seems. I hope you are in better places.

true thing here. Everyone wants to have a working product 2 weeks after the ico. But most forget that the money is collected to have the time to develop the platform/project from scratch. So more than ja year is nothing to worry. Hopefully we are able to take part in the alpha and beta versions

Pretty much, but what can they do? It's going to take years before Meridian is on many exchanges which is upsetting but I'm sure those who wait will be rewarded.

I don't think it's way too hard for a token or coin to be added at an exchange, most of the exchanges (not all) nowadays are all about money like yobit which will add your token eventually provided that you have money to pay them. Why not pay from the funds you collected during the sale to add this token in some "more decent" exchanges?

yobit is just an example, there are some other exchanges where they can add this token like novaexchange, coinexchange, tradesatoshi to name a few and yes the funds collected is not that big amount but i think they just only need a small amount to get this coin listed.
