I do not think that major game studios will participate in such projects. For the most part, each studio has its own platform, why should it be located somewhere else?
Partly agree with you, the studios have no sense to take risks. On the other hand, if large companies are confident in the interest of users, then such a service will be used without exception Large companies will do what is good for business.
