SWM is a utility token that is used to interact with the network for services like tokenizing assets, voting, and paying for third party services. When someone tokenizes an asset, they create and issue an SRC20 token to represent the asset. SRC20 is a protocol we've developed for security tokens, and each tokenized asset or investment project will have its own. For example, the latest opportunity, TheArtToken will issue TAT tokens. So, in short, SWM is a utility token and there is only one of these, while SRC20 are security tokens, a unique one for each project.

We are working really hard on MAP (Market Access Protocol). This is a compliance layer that will allow investors to become compliant to trade security tokens across virtually any blockchain or exchange that implements it. OpenFinance is the first project to agree to support MAP, however we are in discussions with other projects who are extremely interested. We feel that MAP is the missing link the industry is crying out for to really enable mass adoption of security tokens. Next year will be huge for the industry. Stay tuned!
