good morning,

i have switched from algo ETH (171MHs) to XMR (4400Hs), that algo needs not so more power at the moment i drop from 800 watt ETH to 570 Watt by using XMR.

The question is, are 4400 Hs for XMR with 6 RX570 4GB cards a good or a bad value?

Best regards
Willi

I'll post a bios to test out later.

460 H/s is good for an RX460-2GB, I just got a Sapphire RX580-8GB yesterday and I'm currently burning it in with the stock bios, the fan speed sensor seems broken and it gets 430 H/s LOL. It may have to go back...

On an unrelated note this card is the heaviest 580 card I got, this thing feels like it weighs several kgs.

edit:

Modded the bios for this Hynix Sapphire, I got 874 H/s XMR fuck am I disappointed. Bloody thing uses two (2) PCIe power connectors, next card...

edit_2:

Bit busy, I'll try to post a bios for you later today.

edit_3:

OK, try this see if it works. -- Asus.RX460.4096.160715_MINING_BIOS

You'll need pixelpatcher to unlock the drivers if your on Windows and I recommend the fan set to 100%, even if the miner says its cool as there's no sensor on most cards memory.

willi9974:  It is very good rate for XMR.
average is somewhere between 700 to  740 per card  rx570.

^^^ I've been having stability issues even with the 1500 straps on the 570, I recommend the stock bios it's already got the card pushed to the limit it seems. Underclocking and undervolting are the only way to see any gains and stability together and that can be done at the application level.

480/580-8G or bust for modding, I highly recommend the MSI Armor RX580-8GB Samsung version.

^^^ my 570s are MSI, perhaps the Sapphires are bit more robust. Also exactly how clamore's memory frequency settings work is a bit of a mystery he seems to have found a way to access the VRM however my mods are intended to work on just the default settings. In any case I just can't seem to find stability with anything but the stock straps.

Could you make a modded bios for a MSI RX570 4G GAMING X Elpida memory?

I've got one of those cards, It puts out a few HW errors; I just ignore them and carry on. You might get lucky and have a card with higher tolerances than me. My MSI Armor RX570-4GB runs without any HW errors on an almost identical modded BIOS.

Notbatman, is it possible to do a Custom bios for Rx 570 Sapphire Nitro+ 8gb (Samsung) ?

It is but, there's stability issues with most 570 cards it seems unless you get a lucky card. The straps included with these cards are very close to mining straps already and I've only managed to get minor power savings on these cards over the stock bios.

Another user reported success in copying the 1500 straps on his Epilda 570 but I can't confirm this (I need to build a windows gaming and test rig).

I came to 29.1 on 130-135W on dual mining.. Can't get over this point.. :7
