Modified GPU BIOS for Mining

Anyone experience with rx550 elpida memory?
I put the 1625 strap at 2000 and got a LITTLE improvement, but still only have 280 h/s.
Trying more straps now but i dont think this elpida is the best memory.

^^^ already gone, I can't find anything but 2GB cards.

The 2 GB cards also hash 410 h/s xmr.  

410? Not on the asus with that shitty fan, I'm doing 305. I did manage 440 but it just about burst into flames, I can still smell the toxic fumes from it...

I would say 400 should be possible with good power consumption, you just need good performance timings and not OC core much.
But I haven't tested any 550...
What memory type is there?

Can you not read? The fans suck ass and no overclocking, strapping or anything is possible. The fans suck, end of modding story.

Now it doesn't go above 42 C when mining, passive cooled, the thing isnt even ment to fit on it but the holes matched, so i tried it and it works great.

Unless that thing touches the memory chips it's going to be even worse at cooling than the shitty fans.

It comes with memory heatsinks too, its great actually, gpu wont go over 45c when mining, without fan.

No succes, i tried the strap, but i cant even boot into windows with it, black screen.

If your card has memory heat sinks and a good fan then I can do a 550 mod, I'm doubtful it will work with the windows drivers though. The Linux beta mining drivers do support modded 550's.

The new RX550 (Lexa Pro) has 10 CU, but I only can find cards with 1500MHz VRAM. Not good for mining.

But maybe we can unlock the old RX550 with the fast VRAM  .

This Sapphire pulse 4GB  of mine has  10 CU, i have the memory running at 1850 mhz, i can get 385 hash out of it, more then the 300 hash i get from gigabyte rx550 2gb with 8 CU.
Could it be a rx560 with 4 CU'S disabled?

stock bios it does 280 hash, i put 1250 strap at 1750 strap and put memory at 1850 mhz, and got arround 380 hash.
You can probally do better then this, i tried one strap lower and the card would lockup, but ya, i only tried copy paste lower straps into higher ones.

I have searched all over the places for MSI RX570 8GB OC ARMOR with Hynix memory modded bios that will get a rate of 28-30 Mh/s.  Do you happened to have this modded bios?  I tried several mod files but not of them increased from the 24Mh/s I get from the original bios.  I see a bunch of modded bios for the 4GB GPU and other RX570 but nothing on the MSI RX570 8GB OC ARMOR.  Any help will be much appreciated.  Thank you.

I do not see that option to switch to compute workload on AMD.  I am using the Blockchain driver from Aug 23.   Am I suppose to see the option to select compute?

another tricky part is im using msi afterburner to set the memory clock to 1150, but it still run over the afterburner momory clock limit up to 1300mhz, and cause gpu hang. any solution to solve this? =)
