How can I generate my private key from my WALLET RECOVERY PHRASE?

I tried entering my secret phase as password phrase at https://mybtczwallet.org/

But the dumped private key do not generate a public key related to my wallet.

Any other option?

Evening All.
I'm new to this coin.
Whats the plan ?
Are the devs active.
Will it ever be POS or is the hybrid mining method working well?
If so,what is the ROI?
Thanks in advance

BitcoinZ Principles:

Everyone is equal and every coin is made by community and for community. We fight for freedom. Freedom message is spread in every BitcoinZ node around the globe.
Fair launch & announcement at first day
Anonymous. It is recommended to use anonymous zaddr for all transactions. Public taddrs transactions are also allowed.
All contributors are welcome and everyone is volunteer - no premine or dev taxes
Store of value - always POW and never POS. We recommend to watch Andreas POW explanation
Fully decentralized cryptocurrency (no root domain, no main website, no main / core / official dev team)
All new devs are welcome. Don't afraid if any dev leave decentralized team.
    Decentralized development

Hi guys, I had a problem - the wallet does not start. Help me defeat this please ... Undecided

"critical error: couldn't connect to server: EOF reached (code1) "

Hello,

renuzit: "More than likely a reindex will need to be performed on the blockchain database. If you get a “EOF” error, click on the “reindex.bat” application found in the “tools” folder."

You can use the nheqminer for MAC: https://github.com/kozyilmaz/nheqminer-macos

Set a paper wallet: https://paper.btcz.rocks/

To mine I recommend https://bitcoinz.miningspeed.com/ you can set the miner with your public BTCZ paper wallet address.

With your BTCZ paper wallet private key, you can use https://mybtczwallet.org/ to send BTCZ from your wallet to other wallet.

So even without a pc wallet, it is possible to mine, and spend BTCZ.

huobi
bibox
kucoin

imagine kucoin would be steep as well.

Please take care and stay away from Koinbi exchange, which might be a scam one. Lots of users warned about the exchange, which did not allow users to withdraw their coins.

Kucoin is the best and I think it is free, isn't it?
Why BTCZ isn't there?
Is there any problem?

The problem is you haven't contacted them yet, letting them know they need to list us!

From KuCoin site:
"Thank you for your trust in Kucoin! This form need to be filled by your team members, those filled by community members will be ignored. Once your token is seleted into our listing, we will contact you within 3 working days."

I think the devs must contact them in order to be taken seriously.

So what about KuCoin Exchange? Has anybody contacted it since this this post?

It seems that some of the guys that usually contact the Exchanges might do this!!!!

Yes, they have. They are in contact with Kucoin. if Kucoin ask for too much or anything stupid, they will move on.
They are also in contact with so many other exchanges, I think BTCZ will be on lots of them sooon.  Wink

Hi,

I mined and invested in BTCZ from the beginning because of no premine, anonymous transactions and Bitcoin name.

But now in a few days BTCP will appear with the same features as BTCZ.

Can you tell me (us) what better features got or will got BTCZ over BTCP?

Thank you and good luck!

It is probably that Bitcoin Z price will experience more falls before starting new cycle. You can see that by looking at its historical price chart.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoinz/

Probably quite a bit too early to talk about historical price charts as the coin is merely half a year old. It's still mostly unpredictable for the public unless there are major news ahead.

Well, you say the same features, but reading their whitepaper it seems a bit different: (https://btcprivate.org/whitepaper.pdf)

- BTCP (21 mil coins) x BTCZ (21 k mil coins);

- BTCP (no pre-mine, but they will airdrop the sum of BTC + ZCL in circulation) x BTCZ (did not do airdrop, as far as I know, and no pre-mine)

If all the BTC and ZCL holders would apply for the BTCP airdrop, less than 1 mil coins will be left to mine. And I bet they may do like BTX, they will keep airdroping the coins not required for the BTCP holders in POS like maner until the current BTC + ZCL supply be achieved.

Moreover, we need to see what the BTCP marketcap will be, for if it is compared to that of ZCL it will be good for BTCZ, because it will still have a lager growth potential.

What will become of ZCL marketcap after the BTCP airdrop? Maybe some will flow to BTCZ!!!

hey guys!

I've been trying to set up EWBF and Claymore on miningspeed and btcZPool and the miners threw a authentication error on both.

I proof read my configs many times to check if I forgot a character or a value (happens sometimes, moreover when you stay up till late night) but everything was in its place.

Help much appreciated!!

Thanks a lot =)
What is command line (Linux user) ?
What is your batch file (Windows user) ?

There is no problem with BitcoinZ mining.
You can try DSTM miner 0.5.8, the best of all if you have some doubt.

Hey ZenFr! In the end the batch generator didn't work and I still get the same error "Auth problem"
DSTM also failed :/

I am starting to think it's a wallet problem, as if the pool didn't like it, it's a coinomi one.

My batch file is the following:

miner.exe --server us.miningspeed.com --user MyWallet.computer1 --pass x --port 3072

I also tried with EU and Asia servers but no luck =/

Why don´t you try a paper wallet to test? https://paper.btcz.rocks/

If the pool has any problem with coinomi wallet, it might not have with the paper wallet!!!

Yeah, implement historical chart for difficulty. Just to see last few days is pretty much useless exercise.

BTCP is nothing like BTCZ.

BTCP has massive airdrop. All previous ZCL owners will get free BTCP that everyone will DUMP. No POW was done to obtain those coins. It will simply drop in value. POW is what creates value.

ALSO BTCP creator Rhett has discussed voting on what to do with 1,000,000 Satoshi BTCP that Satoshi will probably not access. That means he has access or control over BTCP. So its centralized.

There is NO other coin like BTCZ. Current valuation of $10M is just absurdly CHEAP. This could be hovering around $10B market cap in a year. It is certainly worth a lot more than ZCL and ZCash.

But meanwhile investing in ZCL in short term may be good for me because the fork is coming soon to get some free BTCP.

Since you have the technical skill, can you do something no one has done before PLEASE?

Can you put a calculator that shows an aggregate of what you should have mined in the past few 24hrs, 3 days and 7 days? This way we can keep our pools honest.  You will basically need to take 5 minute interval shots and add them up for the entire day.

Can one of the developers please contact https://barterdex.supernet.org to get us listed? Apparently its free.

BTCZ is already integrated in BarterDEX. It is also added to electrumx: https://github.com/kyuupichan/electrumx/commit/394be855af050157b6f4d51d6a9fa67be1bd238b
BarterDEX also runs electrum-servers for BTCZ, so it can be traded without the need to sync the chain or install the wallet.

Code:
git clone https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/BarterDEX.git
cd BarterDEX
git pull
git checkout v0.8
npm install
npm start

... and go
