Anyone experienced with Insight UI, Bitcore-node ?  I'm trying to get a BTZ blockchain explorer going and I'm using the following 'zcash' patched packages:

  • github.com/str4d/bitcore-node-zcash
  • github.com/str4d/bitcore-lib-zcash
  • github.com/str4d/insight-api-zcash
  • github.com/str4d/insight-ui-zcash

As well as newly compiled BitcoinZ 1.0.1 as the daemon.  Everything runs, but obviously not correctly.  Address searches turn up with no results, getting a lot of 'VALUE ERRORS' in the block explorer, etc etc..

Anyone have any ideas? The testing site is up here: http://54.244.39.225:3001/insight/

So a community coin that launches without bin for other OS except linux and after 7 days still no news about that... What a fair launch... Nice... I hope the few linux users will be happy Wink

I compiled bitcoinz normally per the instructions on the bitcoinz-pod github and integrated it in the bitcore-node.json file.

addressindex=1 is set in the .conf file.

A very interesting coin. Though only the miners can be the only ones who can benefit from this. No exchanges yet and sadly nothing for the bounty hunters. Only those with expensive mining equipment can get this. Too bad.

Liked the name BITCOINZ, the development of this project until 2018, of course that is a long time for me. but it will pay off if the development of this project is very significant in the future, hopefully your project is successful.

New coin with Equihash algorithm, supply up to the mark 12 500 every 2.5 minutes I am curious!
Mother coins are kosher, and no root domain, no main website, no main dev team are new solution for me. Could someone present me benefits from that choice( no main dev etc.)? Because I'm not sure if i can spot that potential...

Dev will need to create a branch and add address indexing in order for insight to work, without it insight will not work.

adding the flags to your conf when the code doesn't exist will not help

Great!  Thanks for your response, this is what I was looking for.  I'll wait and also look into what you're talking about.  This my first time giving this a shot.

Just a straight copy of Bitcoin ? So nothing to see here ? Quite popular for something so basic. So little info and no graphics.

Believe it or not a single letter added to the name of Bitcoin will not do anything, looks like this dev is a lazy ass wannabe rich in no time, he couldn't even pay

$5 to register a domain name, he doesn't even have a proper wallet for every operating system. don't you know a cryptocurrency is all about the wallet

Software mate? you are providing us with a half assed coin which doesn't have anything from it's own, you didn't even write a single line of code because

You don't know how to code, you are a hungry kid from a poor country thinking that you could do whatever you want and succeed in your lousy job. we have

A lot of people like you thinking crypto is a joke.

To give real service, you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.

Well it's a copy of Bitcoin but based on Equihash algo LOL. This dev's behavior reminds me of the same way Signatum Classic wannabe acted, no wallets, no website, buggy code.

Actually looking at the source, it is a fork of zclassic with no changes besides the name

Granted, zcash is a fork of bitcoin, and zclassic is a fork of zcash, so technically it's kinda a... well idk
