I have tried BTC/ETH and BTC/LTC trading a few times. The first time when I did BTC/LTC trade, it was extremely profitable for me. I had purchased LTC for BTC0.0025 per coin, and sold them for BTC0.0300, at around 1100% profit. That was long back, in 2013. Unfortunately that was the last time I even got profit from trading. I tried this particular pair a few times after that, but incurred losses every time. Now I have given up trading and just want to store my coins safely and securely.

I think now we have a different option for trading like BTC, ETH, USD etc but it is not possible to trade directly with fiat currency. So the other option is BTC is the best for trading when compared to others. Because we can easily convert BTC into fiat as we have many exchanges in my local area.

Yes, I am trading altcoin to btc and then btc to fiat currency. Since in my country does not accept altcoin or even bitcoin, I need to trade those currencies for me to use in my country. I think in some selected country bitcoin is used because bitcoin there is accepted by their government. Trading will take a long time before your altcoin become fiat currency but that's ok co'z I have more patience to trade.

Yes I do the same as most of the other members replying in this thread I trade altcoins with btc because my primary purpose is to increase the amount of my bitcoins if I get lucky to have a successful trade. I find it to be the best option among others. I have bitcoins so it's simple depositing btc and withdrawing the profits.

I also trade my altcoins with bitcoins as a source of bitcoin and money as well. In fact, my main purpose why I joined altcoin signature campaigns is to earn bitcoin and also because the chances of gaining more bitcoin by trading is higher than joining bitcoin signature campaigns.

Earning altcoins is more fun to me because I get to decide every move in order for me earn bitcoin. I also like learning and being in altcoin campaigns has showed me trading.

A Big Yes this is the best part of trading this is what i do trading altcoin to bitcoin it can easyly earn profit from them and easy to convert fiat without hassle. Because we know the price of bitcoin is always increase.

My one source of income is bitcoin and it has different ways to make a profit and trading is the onenof this. I earn my altcoin in joining to signature campaign and this will the reason why I got an additional profit. All of my token was traded in bitcoin than other currecny like dollar, this is because for me bitcoin price gives a lot of profit. Additional I choose the altcoin because if you trade your token with a decimal point equal value of bitcoin it has a big difference.

If you doubt to buy altcoins, do not buy it.
If you want learn trade, start with bitcoin and fiat currency. But, it may not easy if you have weak hands and can't wait for weeks.
There are several potential altcoins to buy, no matter if you can buy it using fiat currency or bitcoin, make sure to buy it at the dips and set a certain point to sell it, which takes a few days or weeks. So, it's a game where you have to be patient.

yes, I also do it.I like to trade alt-coin with bitcoin pair instead of USD. bitcoin is more valuable and good for me.I can use it anytime and can store it.its easily to trade with bitcoin also.The value of bitcoin is also a good reason for choosing the trade with bitcoin.its increase and decrease anytime so its a good choose to trade with bitcoin.

It is definitely a good thing to consider trade altcoin to Bitcoin because they are somehow related to each other which their value us intend to trade with each other. It is also a good way to earn becasue there is a lot of ICO in accordance to new altcoin project that peoole could support for them to earn.

If you looking for gaining bitcoin amount , i think it is the best way through btc-alts alts-btc.
You will see the amount of your profit gained a lot! Especially at the moment where btc price crashed.
I have done it since long time ago and so far so good.

Ya true buddy. I use to do the same.I used to trade Bitcoin to Dollar and dollar to bitcoin some time.I.e I use to brought bitcoin when the price is very low with dollar. Even I use to trade the bitcoin for the altcoin which I am having in my wallet. Because bitcoin only give a lot compared to other Altcoin.

trade with altcoin using bitcoin is a natural thing because every altroin will be traded and converted to bitcoin and transactions always use bitcoin when finished trading with altcoin.

Of course we all are, that is the only way we could make great profits by exchanging our Altcoins to bitcoin and that is the way where most of us are used to. I've never tried exchanging my Altcoins to other Altcoins like ETH or Waves, because this two have their own exchange platform. Besides, I've never heard that a token that could be exchange to fiat directly, well if it is peer to peer then I guess it could happen.
