yes of course this is what i do all my order i buy and sell altcoin with btc , because i really like the price of bitcoin
if bitcoin go up i have more usd and if altcoin go up i have mor btc

In fact like you said, they are even easier to set buy order for. I practically always set a buy order at the proce I know it would be hard for the coin to come lower than and sell once it climbs up. At times though, some of these coins is better being held for some days to get better profit.

Trading altcoins for bitcoins will be giving mixed results as per many people's experiences here. What we need to focus is just trying to avoid unnecessary risky trades then we can avoid losses too.

There is no need of playing a risky game when there is room for playing a safe game. I think it all depends on the person himself, if he thinks he can make more money by trading altcoins with BTC, then he should go for it. There is actually no harm in it as far as you have a solid plan in your mind.

I only trade altcoins with tether.

It's kinda simple because you only have to look at the FIAT (usd) Price.
Also, you have more opportunities because you don't have to watch for the BTC Price (which is bullish most of the time).

This is the thing, I would only prefer to trade alt with BTC never with tether/fiat.... I don't speak for rest... but for me whole idea to trade on Polo,Bitrx,krkn or any other crypto exchange is to accumulate profits in BTC and luckily I got involved with some good crypto projects where I get compensations in BTC "on insisting of course "

We need to understand one thing... all of us crypto users,traders,developers and enthusiasts don't even add up to be 0.1% of the world pupulation .. so the point is when u make exit from crypto i.e alt to fiat you are selling out for short profits.. really short margins (its ok if you have some kind of emergency)

The pace by which alt coin market cap is increasing is pheonominal and we won't have to keep patience and hold our portfolio for decades to get extreme returns... couple of years and if you stay invested even in half of your portfolio... we my friends would be new world millionaires may be billionaires.. just matter of couple of years.

thats a complete personal take on the  the crypto trade... we are witnessing revolution in financial system and we are already in the front seat with best view

What i do from USD i convert it to Bitcoin and the I used Bitcoin in trading / buying alternative crypto currency. It is advantage to use bitcoin in trading because of its high value and wiith that we can buy lots of alternative crypto currency.

I always trade with BTC, because if you already bought some BTC with fiat, you shouldnt bother yourself anymore by doing all verifications and other stuff. Also when you buy with fiat you lose a huge % of money. BTC is faster and much cheaper

Yes .i am trade altcoin invest my bitcoin.Everyone try to more profitable for trading.Bitcoin accept all exchanger and you can easily deposit your bitcoin and buy any altcoin from exchanger .

I do actively trade back and forth between bitcoin and some altcoins I think have good growing potential. However not on a day to day basis but I let my trades open for a couple of days before taking profit at around 10-20% profit and then buy back at a support level.

Yeah man altcoins and bitcoin is the best pair in the market that we can use to trade and earn some bucks. No other pair as good as that of bitcoin. Plus you get the altcoin exchanged directly to the bitcoin and then I can keep the bitcoin to grow more in my wallet itself. That just makes everything very easy to work with.

That makes sense. It is often the need of time that you have to work on one thing and the results produced benefits you. Same is the case with bitcoins and altcoins. We often use altcoins in trading for getting more and more bitcoins. Altcoins independently don’t matter enough, so yes it is a best pair in this crypto world.

I do trade altcoin and bitcoin though the market is very technical but I always look for opportunities in long term. Short term bitcoin and almost all the altcoins move in vertical angle and it is some  how very hard to find opportunity but if you have been in this market for long you can easily spot entry point.

Trading Altcoins with Bitcoin is my most preferred style.
Basically, I just convert the fiat to Bitcoin, that way, it will be easier for me to buy at any time.
When the profit is okay, I sell back to Bitcoin.

I trade altcoin using bitcoin, because bitcoin is simple, with bitcoin we can buy all altcoins, if bitcoin rises and altcoin treasure also rises it will get double benefit. that's why I like trading with bitcoins instead of using usdt.

Well this your own choice. I will definitely go for buying BTC by giving away any altcoin which I’ll be having without giving it a second thought. Altcoins are profitable but there is no such future of Altcoins as compared to that of Bitcoins. So there is no need of taking any such risk. Bitcoins are very good for having a good amount of profit.

I trade altcoins with bitcoins and when I need cash I sell bitcoins for paper money.
I can't think of any other reason why am I doing it than because of profit.
I don't think there can be any other reason, traders usually trade to earn money.

I like to trade bitcoin and alt coin, trading bitcoin with fiat is not giving me much option, I need to wait for a long time to sell and buy, but with alt coins I got a better option, I can choose a lot of coin to trade,the downside of trading alt coins is, it is very hard to predict the alt coin market, but still trading alt coins gives me more profit and excitement

Yes, I'm investing with ethereum using my deposit bitcoin thru c-cex trading site. Because i cant use our local money to purchase ethereum directly but our local wallet are selling us bitcoin so after buying bitcoin i will send it to my c-cex account then sell it to ethereum and trade. But i heard our local wallet will soon selling ethereum so it will be a little bit convenience in the future.

Yeah actually all the time, Most of the time altcoins from bounties. for me it's a good one coz you are making money out of nothing. Just ample time and minimal services yet you are earning a good money for you to have. and i'm thankful of that, some may say forget trading there's money on bounties

Yes obviously, i try to stay away from trading, but i really enjoy it when i have to do it, doesnt matter the real purpose, maybe it is to exchange a few coins, or maybe it is because i saw the opportunity to make a good profit. Anyway, i like trading, sometimes i trade alt/eth, but mostly i trade with alt/btc. those both pairs gives a lot of profits since they both have a lot of volume everyday.

I'm trading with my bitcoin as with bitcoin I can easily trade it everywhere and it's more convenient to use.
Then I convert it again in bitcoin. Also I'm using eth for trading or whenever I run out of bitcoin.
And sometimes it depends on the coin because there are coins that are much cheaper when you buy it with eth or btc.

so when price down i start to buy more bitcoin when price high i exchange it to alt coins

trading altcoin pair bitcoin give me big chance to make huge profit than i only trade btc pair fiat because once the altcoin is increase, the percentage is more than 10% and this could help me to increase my btc amount. i am doing this for a long time ago and until now, i think i can increase my btc although there is a time for me to still hold the coins and waiting the increase for the price. but all in all, i am prefer to trade altcoin pair bitcoin to make big profit in btc.
