How much would you make as first amount? I was thinking  £50 bit even if this times by even 10 that's only 500.

Would 300 be a more realistic start

It depends on you. How much money can you risk for an investment? No matter how big or small you invest into something, there is always a risk. If you can't take the risk then start with a small amount of money, but always remember that the riskier it is the more you will earn from it. So yeah, the decision is all yours anyway.

well an investment amount is really depend on how much money you can afford to loose to prevent nervous breakdown .i think we really need to make a limit in investing because we cant predict on the next moving of the price wethier it is goin to rise or to fall down.i believe  that being patience  is really a must if we do investing people really dont have patience that is why they loose.

yes i agree being prudent to limit an amount of investment is really helpful i think people really need to controll thier emotion on making an investment every we invest itvis really risky yet profitable but i believe  being profesional to every investmment you have is  really affect the amount you gain id rather make a limit than to loose everything maybe we can earn big on not limiting the investment but if we  dont have limit maybe we have loose everything.

Only ONE way.
Everyone MUST follow the standard rules for every financial investments.

But, as someone already wrote it is needed to take in count that crypto currencies are very high risk investment.

I guess we will be only the ones who will talk here as the thread starter already left it.
It is true that it is high risk and what others dont see is as the price goes high the needed amount which basically most trading site want is .01 bitcoin if I am not mistaken.
In ETH most preferred .1 ETH which is growing in value.
So the $100 will only just give a little amount which wiill not be sufficient to be accepted by trading websites.

It really depends to you. In my opinion it is better to have your investment be diversified. If you are focusing in cryptocurrencies then try other main cryptocurrencies like altcoins. Or ICO if you are risky. But if not, you can diversify to stocks or real estates or bonds as well.

My personal opinion: the total amount of crypto assets within your portfolio should not exceed 10% of your total assets while constantly rebalancing.

Solid Stock/Bond Portfolios should be the core of every portfolio and cryptos are a nice satalitte indeed!

The problem is that once the opportunity came to buy bitcoin all the other traditional ways of saving money have become unprofitable. By purchasing shares of companies you risk losing your money if the company goes bankrupt. Banks do not pay deposits by a large percentage. They make themselves and people just compensate for inflation. It remains only bitcoins.

This way of thinking is very risky, let me tell you why:

giving companies money as equity (stock) or debt (bonds) creates value: with your money they can e.g. buy new machines and get more efficient/faster/profitable whatever... As a stockholder you're participating through higher revenues (dividends). Therefore its completely reasonable that stock/bond markets have been drifting positive over the last 100years (what they indeed did).

investments in cryptos, gold and any fiat currency is a pure speculation, without creating value: Its simply a bet that cryptos are going to be accepted and used everywhere.

Well i think that this is going to happen, but I and definitely no one knows witch coin this is going to be. Perhaps its bit coin, maybe next year there is an ICO witch is going to erase bit coin? who knows?

Dont forget: in every investment case risk is related to returns.

Good luck and think about that Smiley

How much would you make as first amount? I was thinking  £50 bit even if this times by even 10 that's only 500.

Would 300 be a more realistic start

Basically, you should invest only what can you afford to lose. But for exact amount, $500 would be a good amount of investment. Investment is unpredictable, you might not get what you actually expect. Time defines how much profit youll get, for some cases investment maybe a scam, there might be a time when you near to get your initial fund but suddenly closed. On the other hand, nit all investment are scam, its sometime provides good return of investment. Remembwr that ROI ia dependent to good quality of project.

proper planning and research might give you good idea in starting your venture with crypto investment I think if you don't have enough knowledge 100$ can be a good start with alts trading then while you are practicing and understanding the flow then you can add some more.

This is the basic thumb rule which any financial advisory or billionaire would be giving you that do not buy anything excessive in one thing. Always split your money into different instruments and keep a tab of performing assets and non performing ones. So that you can remove money from NPA and invest somewhere else

I started from 100 USD and increasing it constantly.
In the world of bitcoin, you can invest as much amount of money as you have in your pocket. It all depends on your financial status. In addition to this, one more important thing you need to take care before investing in bitcoin is to see your own self and judge how much capable you are. If you are having this much of skills that you can perform well, then you can invest as much money as you want.

It depends on you. How much money can you risk for an investment? No matter how big or small you invest into something, there is always a risk. If you can't take the risk then start with a small amount of money, but always remember that the riskier it is the more you will earn from it. So yeah, the decision is all yours anyway.
Well risk is not the thing exist in the bitcoin because it is the safe and the easy income for the people, the value and the price of the bitcoin is the best thing in the bitcoin because the value of the bitcoin is very high and it is the time for the people to invest in it, I hold the bitcoin and the price of the bitcoin is the best high for all the people. The bitcoin price is increasing more and more so buy more and get more.

Investing bitcoin is good its really doubled your bitcoin after a few month, but beware of scammer some project of ICO's are not safe but not all therefore they have risk to invest. Especially in airdrop mining and have a little investment after all you invest they have how risky is that, so be careful to invest your bitcoin.

Actually that £50 is good enough to start on investment, there is no such low amount or high in terms of investment because it is in exchange of risk that you are going to take after to putting the money into pot. And if you see good progress the take anothe step to increase your investment, at least you tested before you put too much risk and there will be no regret at all after some changes. Anyway study more about the coins before moving the dice to other side

The tough part is that people don't want to make £100 from Bitcoin. They want to retire on it. And it is not possible to do it (at least now) with small investments. Even if by a small chance Bitcoin goes to $1 million, your £50 investment would only be worth around £10,000. That is good money, but not enough to retire on.

It total depends how much you can risk it. Whenever you invest money anywhere just always keep in mind that there is also a chance of loss, so by keeping it in mind invest a particular amount which you can bear even if you face a loss

Investing in bitcoin is literally just like savings, it could be any amount as much as you can afford but small amounts may take longer time to earn you profits.
Assume that you invest £50 right now in bitcoin at the market price of $600/bitcoin, now when bitcoin rise up to $12000, your investment gets doubled to £100.

Yea, there are plenty of people popping here asking questions like "can i get rich if i buy 1k of bitcoins" and its getting tiresome... Of course not buddy, if you're gonna be rich by investing 1k, how much money do you think the whale who had 1kk to begin with is going to have? Tongue
