7 Days left before Pre-ICO. Get ready. ICO of october
It would be great, I'm quite sure this will be a good one, and I'll invest some BTC in it. Unfortunately you can't participate on all napoleon ICO's period with bitcoin. It accept only Eth as the main way to invest in this project. Yeah, the currency accepted is ETH only, so you must exchange your BTC into ETH first. Many ICOs which offer an ERC20 token only accept ETH, that's a bit of a shame but its still enough time to prepare yourself for the start. I wonder if this why ETH has a hard time increasing in value. Many MANY ICO's have millions worth of ETH and they probably need money to get the project going, so they keep selling at a certain price to get cash flow and thats why ETH cant moon? ETH can moon (apart from the fact that it already did to some degree  ). But it's true there are a lot of projects sitting on hundreds of thousands of ETH waiting to be liquidated to secure sufficient cash flow for future operations. Difficult to say how that will pan out, but I think overall demand is still growing in ETH. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I do not think matter when it is start. Rather do it right at first time. More larger community members get involve is better. |

There is a site NapoleonX and the information there is reliable, and all other sources can spread some rumors that are not official information. |

Bots are becoming a part of daily life (pokergames/insta), so its not crazy that this project is also involving bot about trading. Its the future! Im keeping a close eye on this project

Yes, still no exact date right now Give them some time, it is just the beginning of October. Also the pre-sale is soon, so let them and us first see how this will go  NapoleonX is now working on there partnership before the ICO. Running on ICO isnt that easy, so they need the right advice and help to run this ICO as smooth as possible. No problem to wait some weeks if everything will work great. Take your time! This project will be huge  I hate waiting but if you think about it I prefer successful ico with waiting to compare to unsuccessful one right now. So we must be patient about it. That's the point. Sure, they could go on and just run the ICO now, but better to get the maximum out of it, with enough presence and preperation, even if this means it will take a bit more time. |

What I am asking myself now is what NPX token holders can then do with the DAF tokens they received. From what I understand these DAF tokens represent a part of a portfolio value for a real asset (correct me if I am wrong). Will NapoleonX have to take care that every token from every new DAF gets listed on an exchange or will they offer to buy these tokens back for a major crypto currency? I might still be a bit confused, so excuse me if my question makes no sense ...
Excellent question, one that was on my list How can you cash out your DAF tokens? The whitepaper has 2 sections about redemption. Redemption Threshold
Even if DAFs are autonomous, they are governed by their subscribers. A redemption option is to be offered to let them the opportunity to close a DAF if a sufficient number of subscribers want to. Such option gives an ultimate liquidity to any subscriber whatever the second market may be. The Redemption Threshold is set at 75%.Redemption of the DAF
DAF token holders may decide to terminate the DAF and redeem it. To occur, the number of voting rights deciding such redemption shall be above 75%.
If redemption is decided, then all non crypto-assets in which the DAF is invested shall be liquidated within 5 days. After such liquidation, the corresponding smart contract shall terminate: DAF tokens are redeemed and all crypto-assets are transferred to the DAF token holders in proportion of their share in the DAF.It seems as though you can not cash out until a majority vote has been reached. is it correct that your deposit is stuck in the DAF until redemption? So this means as an NPX token holder, I cannot cash out the DAF tokens I received for the bot voting unless the majority of the DAF token holders decide to terminate the whole DAF? So to liquidate my DAT tokens I'd probably have to use EtherDelta or some similar exchange where I can trade them for ETH. And how would such a termination of a DAF take place? Will they buy ether with the fiat money they got from selling all non crypto-asset and then pay-out ETH to the DAF token-holders? |

The Team haven't announced the new date of the ICO, so the pre-sale will move too, this delay fits perfectly for me, now i have more time to gather my eth for this ICO, so i would recommend the same  . |

The platform takes into account the interest of the DAF holders because it sets up voting sessions every six months, each chooses whether the DAF is fully bought out, which strategies to invest, what financial levers are put in place. This gives a lot of power to the community.

What did I miss? Do you have any links to any of these the updates, the Bitcoin fork, and NapoleonX date switch? The bitcoin fork will be in November, we know it since August, that's why the market is quite unstable since a while. I don't have link for Napoleon but I read it on the thread. |

I agree, a lot of people are checking BitcoinTalk regularly and this information has to be changed here also before some confusion will start. I know the exact date is not known, but they should change it anyways. |

Now are the golden years of crypto. Guys do your research and invest in all promising ICOs.
But patience is key! Everyone freaks out when an ICO doesn't double in the first week. If everyone holds tight and thinks long term, they will be much better off. We do have to take in account that a lot of ICO's won't make it in the end. However I strongly believe that NapoleonX has a very good background in the finance world and they could become very big in the long run. This is for sure not a flipping ICO in my opinion. I'll hold on to my investment for quite some time. It's a fact that the more ICOs are emerging the more competition is in the business. This will both help to get the best products but also it will be more difficult to choose the right investment. I agree that the project is good for the long term, the future is impossible without bots in trading, all will be improved, the demand for automated trading will only grow But most important is that the technology is safe and secure. If that can be achieved everybody will use it. |

For the French there is a great opportunity to get to know the project better. 16 october 2017 there will be a large meetup dedicated to ICO in Paris.
