I can't find the coin in Coinmarketcap... Is this a temporary bug? I would like to see for example what's the price of the coin and how can we buy?

Coppercoin is not yet on Coinmarketcap. For pricing see Cryptopia

hi,

i'm new to the cryptocurrency world, and need some help please

i went on : http://www.coppercoin.net/#mine

i've followed the instruction like mentioned on the website , same same thing:

Open your wallet, and make sure you are connected to internet
You are connected if you see the icon Wallet Connections in the lower right corner of your wallet.
Close your wallet and create the file Coppercoin.conf in the folder "%APPDATA%\Coppercoin\".
Paste the following text into Coppercoin.conf and save the file.
rpcuser=rpc_user
rpcpassword=a0193167781d574e2763b0d9a
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=22558
listen=1
server=1
Download the latest version of cpuminer from here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55038.0) and extract the zip file.
Create a .bat file named mine.bat and paste the following text into mine.bat.
minerd --url=http://127.0.0.1:22558 --userpass=rpc_user:a0193167781d574e2763b0d9a
Save the file inside the extracted cpuminer folder.
Open your wallet and execute mine.bat to start mining your first coins.

now i've been doing it for more then 30hrs and still my copper wallet hasnt change a bit. no staking, no coins. only connection to server is up to date...

any advice? have i miss something?

thanks for your time reading this

Any active development on this coin? Seems interesting.

I haven't seen any activity in a while (from the single Dev), only speculators.

What do you guys think?
Does this coin have any potential?
 The current price is really cheap to buy in now.

do this project have premine?

no premine

You should put 'no premine' in your announcement title, if others are like me, we specifically search for new coins with no-premine.

Well, it does say 3% yearly.

I hope that doesn't mean the min stake age is 365 days.
I'll have a peek at the source.

Edit: The min stake age looks to be 8 hours. The max is unlimited.  Someone holding more than 8 hours should have staked something by now.  Looking through block explorer now...

Edit: I don't see anything that looks like a stake transaction in the last 100 blocks.

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

HI,

I'm a supporter of Coppercoin, I invite you to discover me on my linkedin account:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/jr-despres-a7024054/

If you have alot of connections of linkedin like me, I have around 4500 members, maybe add a job on your profile like: Coppercoin Enthusiast. Then after receiving many likes add a sentence to buy coppercoin so that the coin become more well known, visible.

Do you have tips in order to make this coin more popular ? Is there a marketing strategy ?
