No wallet still? and what about the testnet? any news about that? I mean we are almost on time and there was no tests to check the viability of the network... damn what a disorganized project...

The time for the fork is very close to need more or less 22 hours. But there is no official information about it. But i suggest to keep your bitcoin on the secure wallet who support BTG like the popular wallet Bitcoin core, electrum or etc. And don't forget you must holding your private key of your address.

Well here we go again and many are on edge as to where this will lead to. I'm risking leaving my btcs in my exchange wallet to be sure i get btg so the excitement and anxiety is really building up.

yes , too many  BTC fork is very bad for the long term of  BTC  price ,  now  the  price is rising  as a result of   fork buying ,  it  will change in the future  if  BTC  dont stop forking  and froking.

Sure the Bitcoin pump before a Fork is good. But you will see how bloody it will be on Bitcoin in the next days after BTG is released.

Bitcoin price is now showing the sign that hard fork FUD are closed to happened. I don't know the reason why many investors wants to pull out during the hard fork while there is a free $$$ waiting on it in terms of BTG just like what happened on BCH. Hahahaha. Anyway. I will grab this opportunity to buy more BTC for BTG.

in one hour ago, i check in yobit and there is a free btg for people which the same amount of btc and the market going crazy because people is trying to trading btg. the low price is 0.001xx btc and the highest is 0.19x btc but now the price is drop to deep and i don't know if its can increase again. i think its like bitcoin cash in few weeks ago and it seems the price is going to go down for more. i think i will watching in the yobit to see the battle

If I have Exodus is ok?Or I have to move my BTC to Electrum or Bitcoin core to have BTG?

When exactly will the hard fork happen? Is there a definite date for this? Or is this date uncertain? As far as I can see, there are two dates that are not sure around.

Just stick to the date on the site http://btcgpu.org. It is expected to fork at block 491407 which is estimated to take place in about 23 hours from the time I posted this. It may be a bit longer, or a bit shorter, I guess but obviously within that range. However, the best is just to keep your fingers forked and when it gets forked, you will eventually know.

Isn't it another fork just to earn some money with your current holdings? Any information about which exchanges are going to support it? Any official page that is written in readable english? Without that project will die really fast.

It is no Scam. It is regular Future Trading. If you dont know what it is just do some research for example here

Ok, thanks for the answer, i didn't intend to spread fud or anything, It was just strange to me that they credited 1 btg "future" for every BTC users had, before other exchanges (at least, that's the info i have).

To be honest, i can follow the previous bitcoin cash fork easily. But for this bitcoin gold, it is not easy to find out when is the finalised time for the snapshot to be taken and is there any replay protection implemented. What i am more worry about is the replay protection.

I didn't see any notice from Yobit that deposits and withdrawals are disabled for 72 hours like it happened with Bitcoin Cash so maybe it is allowed and they will credit you the same amount of Bitcoin Gold you deposit in your Bitcoin account, you deposit 0.10 Btc, you get 0.10 Bitcoin gold. Yobit is not the most trusted exchange out there so be careful with your coins.
