How long do BTG transactions take on average?

i sent mine 46 minutes ago to bittrex. it just cleared 10 confirmations. it's gonna be very interesting to see how quickly hitbtc and bittrex level out. and i find it very strange bittrex didn't have a btg market for coins already in there. maybe there was, i didn't notice.

3 confirmations in 3 minutes here, fast IMO.
Probably sometimes it was that fast, but currently I got 2 confirmations in almost hour on bittrex. Unusable  Sad

Don't buy BTG on yobit. Wallet is closed and the coin is dumped on immediately after buy.

Session starts with a "buy" quire in the trollbox and after buy the trollbox goes "sell" and some morons start talking shit about your buy. Not a nice place to shop these days.

My BTG buy looks like a bad buy after that treatment.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Follow up on yobit. It's called "wallet maintenance". There is punched in a 0.01 BTG withdrawal fee for the patient ones.

PS: For comparison. BTG miningpool at suprnova has 0.0001 BTG fee for withdraw.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Bitcoin Gold is a fork of bitcoin just like Bitcoin Cash. One of the notable changes is that they have changed algorithm to Equihash which makes it asic resistance and its a memory intensive algorithm. The idea is to bring back GPU mining plus some other changes.

Does GPU mining makes sence when paying western prices for mining gear + power? Is any of you guys doing this?

There is some public reason for the recent pump? Maybe yobit has started to accept deposits? Grin
