Bitcoin is volatile. It goes up and down. But history shows us that after every dip is a larger rally. This will be no different.

I would expect China (and indeed other countries) to ban ICOs in the shorter term until they can be more heavily regulated. IMO this is a good thing and will help weed out the scams and make us, the participants, more protected.

As for banning exchanges (and JPMorgans CEO comments on the whole thing being a fraud) theese are the actions and words of a fearful and broken system trying to stem a digital revolution. And they will fail. Cryptocurrencies are the future and they cannot stop it.

I absolutely agree that bitcoin is volatile and there are time that the price of bitcoin goes up and down. In addition to that, if the price of bitcoin dropped you must still hold it and wait for the right time sell your bitcoin. Do not ever do panic selling just hold it and gain high income.

Many whales now from S.KOREA pumped up BCH along with some bitcoin core defectors and it has taken a hit because BCH and BTG stealing the limelight for a while. Will one of these other two forked up BT something coins, take over Bitcoin? Well, i think despite the increasing dips happening to Bitcoin these days, bitcoin will still recover and become even more better after bitcoin comes out of these easy trials that it is currently going through right now. And i am pretty sure about that. All these price increases of bitcoin Cash and bitcoin gold are obviously just poor efforts of a pumping and dumping scheme to feed on small investor's money to feed the big whales running the pump. And after this is over, bitcoin will rise again breaking record by record.

A pull back was predictable and predicted by the way. Looking at the one year chart, back to the 5k support line would not be a surprise. It is a rather healthy behaviour I think. Not that healthy for day traders I must admit, but long time hodlers should not be worried imo. I would start to worry below the 5.000-4.800 support line.
BTC may pull a rabbit out of a hat scalability wise soon as well.

The sentiment to me is that Bitcoin has still a way lot more exposure world wide than BCH, more use daily too. The bitcoin name is more printed in the collective subconscious than BCH. What's more, announcing BCH as the new 'Bitcoin' in the mainstream media would confuse general public only weeks after Bitcoin flooding media with its ATH. If it happens, it will be easy to see it coming too and stop loss before drama.
Already doubtful about the matter, general public would be even more concerned about volatility/stability of crypto currencies as a whole and this would harm everyone.

I doubt BTC stopped working on solving the scalability issue after announcing 2x cancellation. Everyrone was expecting an announcement so they had to announce something. It does not mean they won't announce something else soon.

From the views of the last few month the price of bitcoin falling is less chance. There are equal opportunity of the price of bitcoin is falling or  rising but there are maximum chance of the price of the bitcoin is increases is like 99% chance of increases . Now the time bitcoin become very popular in every country because it price is countinously increases since last few month. There are less than 1% chance of fall in the price of bitcoin it depend on the popularity of bitcoin.

At what aspect the term stable is used, I'm not sure about it. In reality from the ongoing price dump and pumping shows that price of bitcoin has gained strength to stay above certain value however worse the market gets hit and in this manner it is stable. From every steep fall, it once again gains potential to grow bigger.

I believe that it isn't of any profit if we sell BTC when its dropping down , its the fluctuating nature of BTC so the vie would go up and down.
BTC is always growing in long term , one should remember this and see after dropping till $ 3.5 K it is now on $7.3 K .so if someone had converted BTC into their fiats in fear of BTC falling are in a huge loss .the amount that they were holding could have been got doubled in just3 months.

It won't happen, it has chances to rise. It's worth won't fall to 4000 to 4500$ because now even the fork is cancelled, people are liking it and the number f investors is increasing day by day, everyone is trying to get into bitcoin and invest here so to be rich in very short time. Rise and fall are part of every currency but for bitcoin it's now the time to rise and hope it cross 10000$ by the end of this year.

If you sell now, you sell with panic and not because you wished to. If you can hold on till this is over, then you'll enjoy your patience. No matter the dip in price of bitcoin, it always rises again and most times above.

And regarding BCH, that increase is only fuelled by FOMO; it's gonna crash as hard as it came up when those emotional traders change their mind..

That's right. A few weeks ago the CEO of Xapo predicted that given the expected conditions, within a few years the price of bitcoin would be shooting at $250,000. I have to admit that I do not see a realistic support in this bitcoin bullish race given its known limitations and challenges to overcome, so I hope this is not a big bubble that causes great damage when it bursts.
