I usually ignore ICOs, it's always better to invest in a protocol than in a company.
I believe every ICO from 2013/2014 has failed, 95% or more of all these new ICOs will fail and people will lose their money.
Were not 2013 or 2014 now Many ico's have big potential now...i never failed in ico before so try it now Just pick a ico that have great potential Most ICOs are just pathetic money grabs. There are very few that have "great potential" in the long run.

Are you picky with ICOs?
Yes i am because even if i haven't invested on an ICO yet, i just like to be sure that my time and efforts in joining their campaigns will not be wasted. So i always do thorough check for the team that made the ICO and of course, i read their white paper too.

After all, this is your personal investment. Whether you're picky in Chengdu determines whether you can get high returns, so I'm critical of every ICO project I invest in.

Ofcourse, There are so many scams nowadays and you don't want to lose money and waste your time over some scams/frauds.
You should do research first, check their company background, achievements, and ever their staff and devs.
ICOs also have to be convincing so you will know that many people will also invest like you did.

Are you picky with ICOs?
Ues I am, because icos, there are a lot of scams when it becomes to icos and it involves money even though it is a higher money or lower money. The most important in this is to check if the icos are legit because you do not want to get scammed in this icos there are a lot of scams here especially when investment money are involve. A lot of people are getting scammed because of investing in some of the icos here. And because they are not reading those whitepapers so yes I red a lot when it becomes to icos I need to be sure.

We are the same, I don't trust any ICO's out there easily. I'm doing my best to find out if they are reliable and can be trusted with out money. I'm also aware with those, since you mentioned about scams. They are using ICO to scam people and they are making it look like legit but still scam is a scam, they will not do any progress with the project and when they are done of collecting investors money. That's an indication for them to run.

Products and Protocols only. Services are a No No.
Even with products sometimes, anything can happen, although I reason with the services. I went against all my normal way of picking ICOs lately when it comes to team and I decided to invest in Confido. I had some doubts about the team about pulling it off to success, but after some good decisions they were making regarding how the ICO should go and the fact that they had an escrow product on ground ready to kick start, I decided to give in. Unluckily, the ICO has ended, the team came up with a flimsy excuse of a legal issue and now all their accounts to contact them have been deleted. In one word, one just need to be extra careful when it comes to ICOs.

Yes, there is no reason to not be picky! It doesn't make any sense to just jump into any ICO with the idea that it will work out for you - most ICOs are not going to work out and in the end you're only doing yourself a disservice if you're just going to be handing out your money without even thinking about where it's going.

We really should be picky, see there are plenty of ICO and not all of them will succeed, that's the reality so e should know every details and think what's on it that can make it successful.

I think that the reason that scam ICOs are so succesfull is that they offer big "payment" bounty thus making newbies to spamm the forum with them. So, for the members who really whant to invest some money and are expecting some real proffit but not the unrealistic promise of becoming billionaire over night and with no investment is very hard to find the good ones. I think that if users will stop spammig for every shit ICO that appears in the long therm we all have to win making it harder for SCAM ico to work.

Are you picky with ICOs?
Yes of course. Aren't you? If we feel like we are in a scammy ICO then why should we still go with it? We are aware of the risks so I think being picky will sometimes work most especially if we also make a lot of research before picking the right one. It is really hard to lose something like time and money let us be vigilant any time because we cannot identify 100% on what project will be a scam because sometimes promising projects turn out to be a scammy one in the long run. There are also nonsense and too good to be true projects that we need to watch out because they might cause damage or lose.
