I wish I put all my crypto funds in bitcoin. Would have saved me a lot of effort shifting my funds between altcoins and would have given almost the same return.

I don't believe in this forks and upcoming coins. For me it's just an opportunity to make some extra cash, and go back to alts.
Original Bitcoin will be the king long time, IMHO.

Well, I'm on the right track. Because not interested in bitcoincash and more adamant to holding btc. Now, btc breaks through $5K while bitcoincash actually getting weaker against btc.

BTC is more than alive!
Since I started my crypto life, I have heard this so many times for the past how many years on how BTC is dead. I cannot even count the number of times, maybe 50, maybe 100 or even more but BTC is still fine and kicking. It is funny though, cause I thought most of these guys would have given up by now and just accept reality but they still keep pushing their hopes and dreams that will never become a reality. |

My mom called me and said that I should move all of my bitcoin into bitcoin cash because it's the real bitcoin. That is how I knew not to do it and that only bitcoin is the real bitcoin.

it could be argued that the jury is still out on segwit. at this moment in time it basically hasn't delivered anything other than some slightly larger blocks. i think the jury's in on bitcoin cash though. yeah.... |

I would really want to know what is real number of BCH supporters? Can we clarify one thing which side has majority? I know many good altcoins which can be good and decent substitute for Bitcoin, if we are talking this way.
I guess manny would like to see reversal, BCH to go up and BTC down. But it won't happen, this will make mess and many investors will start losing their trust.

I am sorry but bitcoin will never die. It’s normal to have ups and downs but it’s main pillar of crypto world so it will only get better and more valuable in long term. As you can see from the current rise in the value of it.

I believe people should make their choices based on their research. So we should not make assumptions about which coin is better, but instead invest some time till we are confident with each coin and draw our own conclusions. Money invested well is reflected only by time spent in the same manner. Everything should be based on your own thoughts and searches, and this forum should only encourage this from here, I believe that a successful investment is just be based on information that we will know exactly. |

More forks, extra bitcoins for me. Bring them on. Forks are just another shitcoin to dump.
The forks mean there are more sha-256 coins to mine - which means miners switching wildly between chains. This destabalises bitcoin. While you are correct I did not think it matters a lot in the long term, at some point these hard forked coins are going to go down in price and with a lower price then the returns get lower and that will mean they will need to assign a lower amount of hash power to the point the hash power they assign to those chains becomes insignificant and stop affecting bitcoin. |
