Why are you doing a pre-ICO rather than directly an ICO since you have an MVP product already ?

Hi. Thank you for the comment. Yes, we spent time on the whitepaper as well to make it as clear as possible.

Our idea behind the pre-ICO is that we will need a first round of funds in order to run a good marketing and PR campaign, so when we launch the ICO itself, there is some awareness about SelfPay, and we can raise as much as possible to be able to give a higher reward to our token holders.

OK, that makes sense to me. I'm going to keep an eye on it. Looks promising to me.

Thank you for your question, I am glad you ask it, let me can show you something that I really like in SelfPay:  

The separation of trust

The buyer receive a paylink and use his own phone to pay.

The seller get 20% of the transaction fees reward in crypto, and 40% goes to the SxP Token holder.

The seller is happy to get a selling reward, and he is even more happy to use the solution again !

Keep in mind that  any seller can use the solution, even in brick and mortar shop, it s not just a new online payment, the seller do not need to have a web site to use it, it is a far bigger market than just the online market, this is something new and fresh !

As far as I am concern, there is a lot of competitor on the online payment space, but I failed to find any competitor that : offer a offline and online fiat payment and reward the sellers by using crypto currency.

Don't take me wrong, Today, while I am writing those lines I am sure that other companies will have the same idea, but for now there is none that offer the same advantages than SelfPay.

Payment are made in real time, between 10 to 45 seconds, the cryptoback rewards takes more time of course, but it mater less as it is a reward so sellers can expect some time to get the crypto visible in their account.

A video shall be provided to see the payment process so you can appreciate the speed of it.

What can happen to this project if the law on the prohibition of ICO comes into force in China?

From my perspective this has little impact to the project on itself. From the beginning the team believe that credit card payments are not going to disappear over night, so
the profit sharing from the transaction fees that token holders and merchant get will not change - no impact here.

On the other hand, we can also imagine that a number of Chinese people that are holding crypto currency at the moment would be happy to directly pay SelfPay network of merchants in crypto currency all over Southeast Asia, which is where the main marketing efforts will be.

If China decides to prohibit ICO and also crypto currencies, it will be probably very sad, but it might even be beneficial for other projects that are not in China such as SelfPay.

The existing product is already accepting VISA/MasterCard. As under the hood, SelfPay is a payment aggregator, we are even able to accept local debit card in each countries where a payment API is available.

In the coming months SelfPay will also accept Alipay ( China's leading third-party online payment solution ).

Regarding Alipay it is representing 450 Million Chinese Customers.
