Lol, the term 'destroy' makes it seem like we are actually burning physical cash, I'll stick to rendering Bitcoin's value to zero.
We, the users of Bitcoin (and other related crypto currencies) , are the ones who can render it's price to zero the moment we stop ascribing value to Bitcoin. Even when some stakeholder like China decide to be done with Bitcoin for example, as long as people ascribe much value to it, Bitcoin will remain in use.

PEOPLE. That is the only thing that can destroy bitcoin. We are so easy can fall under someone's influence or our greedy and to make money through use of other people, all of that destroying bitcoin by little day by day. This destroy is not felt yet, cause of bitcoin is not so popular indeed, around 10-20% of people know about bitcoin actually. I think with raising number of users bitcoin is going to be in more danger. I can't say what is going to be in bitcoin banning or what else, but bitcoin is going to be destroyed by people and cause of people. That's the fact.

In a market scenario that can destroy the bitcoin value is its own user. If bitcoin users gradually start leaving bitcoins and switch to other digital currencies, I make sure the bitcoin value will collapse.

A jealous person like the ceo of some company called Jp Morgan or a country like China whose loosing the grip over Bitcoins tried to do shake it down but did not succeed, so what's clear is that investment bankers and government are against it, but then it has patronage of Japan to. So for me it's the bankers who pose the biggest threat, but we shall deal with them. Then one more looming threat is of the fork, hopefully we see no. More.

maybe its not who but what can destroy bitcoin, it strives ever since it started almost with no value then reaching to this point where it can be compared better than investing to gold. Maybe they will find some vulnerability in its security or destroy its reputation through ignorance and hoax.

Only one person can destroy Bitcoin. Chuck Norris!
Nah, seriously, Its been going on for so long now that I cant really predict a cause having it destroyed.. a 51% attack is no longer viable. Sure, if almost ALL hashpower would suddenly dissapear, there would be a great disaster.

I disagree with you. If governments want to destroy bitcoin then they will be enough to strengthen control over the Bank accounts and destroy the Internet exchangers. It's not very hard to do. That is why to strengthen the position of bitcoin it is important to be able to buy and sell bitcoin directly.

I think the only thing that could destroy is bitcoin itself. If Satoshi Nakamoto decides one day he wants to scam all of us and one day closes bitcoin then we are all doomed. LOL!

A major hack or fail in the code is the only thing I can think about right now. That would really have it down. But a thing like that would be like a major hack on the internet, highly unlikely.

but its still profitable for them so they wont do that for sure, and without any real issue people will still come forward and support this currency the only matters would be if all the big countries whos engaged with crypto will try regulating and implementing equal rules about crypto maybe it can affect this system.

Actually for my opinion the one or the ones who can destroy the bitcoin is Chinese, see what they are doing and whats happening to bitcoin. They are banning and not allowing ico's in their country, so whats the effect? See the fast decreasing of the value of btc. In a single country can destroy the btc what more if the other.

All of the investors if we stop using it or investing in it and continue to sell the bitcoin it would drop its price, And also if the government shut down the whole internet.

Anything that could destroy Bitcoin can destroy Internet. The governments could kill Internet but would be suicide, unless there is a global war.
Or if all the governments agree to control Internet like China does now. So if the world government becomes a reality, they could kill Bitcoin.
I can't see Bitcoin dying without internet shutting down or without a global government

I honestly think the only thing that could possibly destroy bitcoin is another new and much more efficent "method of currency" that would make bitcoin and all Cryptos look "obsolete" ... but I think thats not possible atm... and dunno what that could be, so no as of right now nothing can destroy it, wouldent be convenient for anyone.
