don't get it. I see the 100 coin reward in the source I built from that is still sitting around....along with the 0 reward until 14,000 of course.  Yet the pool and a few miners on it got paid out

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

The fee theory makes sense would be a smart way for the developer to generate "buzz" to keep mining of his dead coin going

Also possible he modified other parts of the code I'll go take a look

This just popped up in the pool....

NOTE 2: we're still at 0 block rewards, so any coins received are due to transaction fees.

I do notice a bunch of connected peers on 9333 with a higher starting height.

kim - that is not uncommon with these copy/paste coins was happening to DGC for quite awhile.  Usually the developer neglects to add check points and does not establish a robust enough starting network.

Hence, the client periodically syncs with the wrong network

The main point fenican, is that you should not go around calling people liars without evidence.
I'm up to 1500, all 150s. You should not assume there is not some other mod of the code, or
perhaps it is just fees. Regardless, what I reported was accurate & true.

Yes sorry it appears it was in fact fees.  Obviously unusual for someone to pay a 150 coin fee over and over but this has been one of the most bizarre releases !

At this point I've got too much time ( both mining time and my time ) invested in this coin to stop now. Well played AMC....well played.

2016 blocks for diff adjust should be changed before final launch, 300 or less blocks. Or americancoin will die ... examples of problems:
Elacoin, Feathercoin, Chncoin, Freicoin, ...

Elacoin-ELC,Betacoin-BET,Neutroncoin-NTRN,Americancoin-AMC,Stronghands-SHND,Craftcoin-CRC,DOGE,BCH,BTC,...,Bitcoin,...(and a lot more)
Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]
