The dev is active on bitcointalk, just looked at sikka's profile.  Shocked

So the alpha prototype is already out? Seems that only couple of people got interested on this project. But checking the team, seems legit. How are you gonna boost your exposure other than telegram campaign?

Don't know anything myself. Just checked the last active of the dev on his profile  Tongue

So this coin still alive, not being dead? Or need to give dev some more time to re-dev this coin again and release some important info?

Nobody can answer this question, same question was about BTC in 2011-2013  Smiley

Is there any exchang planed? I can't subscribe to c-cex.com

What does this link, which shows trading activities of an ethereum token called "sikka" like the coin "sikka" in this thread, has to do with the coin "sikka" ?

https://c-cex.com/?p=sikka-btc

answer: nothing?

website of ethereum token, very revealing and informative.

http://sikka.io/

this website links to

http://cialisfrance24.com/

i believe Cialis will help you improve your erection during sex. LOL apart that this is a bullshit product, you could not even buy it with the coin "sikka", only with an ethereum token called "sikka".

for further information look for:

https://etherscan.io/token/0xb4b21c7a8a7b3f01129b7bb4ca1ec9fbd58f3a76

If you ask me, the coin "sikka" is a completely marketing fail.

I am completely deranged and dont have a clue what is sikka? an ethererum token or a coin? or both? what the fuck! is there no copyright on the trademark "sikka"?

NO? Really?

this project was founded by complete idiots. Thats a fact. No wallet - no exchange - a double spend trade mark "sikka" - WTF. If you could double spend the coin sikka what would be the consequences then? It would be worthless. And the same is true with a double spend trade mark. Absolutely worthless. Image there would be an ethereum token called "bitcoin". Would be devastating. Dev should bring this to trial. But hey - the ethereum token "sikka" is older than the coin "sikka". oh oh oh .... bad bad bad.

this shitcoin is a truly shitcoin and has absolutely no chance to become accepted.

All this project has had to offer was a lot of enthusiasm on the peak of the cryptomania in the 4th quarter of 2017 when really everybody who wanted to get rich was talking about cryptocoins and the opinion that a community and a blueprint of a cryptocoin based on the cryptonote protocol inclusive 4% premining for airdrop and bounty would be enough to get this project started and to keep it alive. Puh.

FAIL!

I have seen a lot of projects but this project tops everything regarding dilettantism.

Not even a GUI for a wallet became real. FAIL.

a mobile wallet? FAIL

exchange? FAIL

roadmap/timeline? FAIL

further coin implementations and coin developement? FAIL

embedding merchants? FAIL

honest communication with community? FAIL

second Airdrop? FAIL

bountrycompletion? FAIL

protection of trademark "sikka"? FAIL

Even the white paper is a joke. See:

http://getsikka.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Sikka-Vision-Document.pdf

the website getsikka.org is a joke, too. Not even: sikka.io could be secured. Now you can see information about an ethereum troll token on sikka.io.

I dont want to extend my list of FAILS - enough is enough!

The truth is that sikka has been a huge waste of time, the developer has laughed at the whole community, in short a huge and huge loss of time. I hope that the community will do something to revive the currency if not already it would also be an economic loss of electric power.

Guys keep your wallets sync and updated. Keep mining.
We are working on a plan, no hurry but we will come with something good which will have proof of activity.

I m trying to open GUI-wallet and have error "Bytecoin wallet already running".
What should i do?

Are you running any other cryptonote coin wallet at the same time?

No, only sikka gui-wallet.
Close your wallet and then open your resource monitor. See if you see wallet.exe running .. if so end the process. Then open your sikka wallet again. See if that helps. Smiley

1) I m trying, as you say, but it not helps - only "sikka.exe" running in the resource monitor.
2) Trying run sikka wallet as administrator and it change the error - Loading screen of GUI appears
(with logo) and stuck - say "Blockchain load error".

- Make sure the directory in which the wallet is located is not in a path containing non-English characters
- Make sure your Windows username does not have non-English characters. If it has, you need to specify a data directory (without non-English characters in the path) manually instead of using the default one (because the default one will be C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Bytecoin, so if your username has non-English characters, it's again problematic). You can do so using the --data-dir parameter.

ok now we got to the point where we should judge the prev. activity of the dev and this coin

the idea : good
total-supply : good
roadmap : total shit
developer : a good developer but seems like a one man show
white paper : a good read and promising

The solution :
this coin to be re-enigneered ,
 raise number of devs ,
put a roadmap with specific dates
report back to users with current issues to see if they got a fix
bounty program to spread the word
Escrowed donation address to get listed on exchanges

I was a little upset after I did not get an airdrop of 3000 coins.
Now the calculator of the pool writes me that in one day I can get about 500k of coins. It is sad.

Upset, if too less. Upset, if too much. lol - you are really hoping for anything? after 5 month? LOL

not even the newsletter on getsikka.org was corrected after someone mentioned it here weeks ago. still I can read: "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later."

yeah - thats the dev - wait wait wait. i will try (to make anyhing like wallet & co.) later. Later, Later, Later. The other coins are waiting for sikka. Sikka will be great. Our dev will have a genius idea - a BRILLIANT idea in the LAST second of mining. Before the LAST block was mined our holy dev will come and present a working wallet gui. LOL.

I am 100% sure. He MUST be a genius. He is hardworking in the background. And he will surprise EVERYBODY in the community with his interstellar idea. So outstanding. So terrific. so beautiful. So simple and handy. So trendsetting. Yes. I would programm it for myself IF I could programm. Why nobody of the holy community is programming a gui wallet?

Or big brother monero will come and support sikka. LOOOOOOOL.

Thats so funny.

Hey - just promise another welcome present and new bounty or whatever and everything will run by itself. 100% sure. I am 100% sure. Tomorrow we will see results. 100% sure.

Sikka devs do NOT have to act like any other successful project or company - step by step and steadily. Hell NO ! Only ONE! brilliant idea it should be at the end of the not existing deadline. (By the way - until which calender date we have to wait? any detailed and accurate deadline?) Not spring 2018 or such a bullshit. A real correct date. Easy and simple. So we all can measure the results on this date. This would be a first step. But not even this requirement would be fulfilled. I am 100% sure. 100% sure!

But hey - lets be patient. The dev needs his silence. He is THINKING! A great dev. Lets praise him! Really. Nobody else can rescue us.

I doubt that bitcoin will survive the next 5 years because its worlds away from being a perfect tool to pay with. But hey. Sikka! Sikka will do it! Great. The 1,200th coin will do it. But be quit ... the dev is thinking Wink hihi

I am just joking. Its a great website. Really. Outstanding! The dos-wallet. Puh. Great! I love to update it on a daily basis. What a GREAT shell. The programmer of this wallet will get the Nobel prize for it. Really. Great work. 2 windows daily. I love it. So handy.

Ok - the docs have found me - they want to bring me back into this strange building with the barred windows  - I have to take my pills. Will be back tomorrow. 100%!

no block for 4 days. what happened ?

It seems the US pool has had some issues and the calculator was reporting blocks found incorrectly. I checked my miner and the US pool didn't give out shares so I switched to the EU pool a few days ago for my peace of mind.

Largest pool is now the EU as it appeared more stable, but the US pool seems operational now again and some hash is returning.

Hopefully the pool operator can shed some light on the issue...
