Is there any exchang planed? I can't subscribe to c-cex.com

website of ethereum token, very revealing and informative.

http://sikka.io/

Dude you have just created account to shill your eth token, Dev already told this thing early in days. Sikka coin is not related to eth token as per dev.
And I know who is behind this eth token, he is total fraudster.
And stop this madness, it does not help anyone. Because we all have mined and we are also waiting like all other, no need to spread any FUD.

I have time to spare and I choose to spend it doing what makes me happy.

I chose to do the survey as I am interested in what other people think in relation to this coin.

Why do I always see the statement that a coin is dying? Such a groundless speech is so unaccountable, which is unfair to developers.

Why it s groundless? "Dev" don t do nothing for all this time.
Sure coin is dead - long time ago.

Low sparks of activity was in the first month of ANN, but since then - nothing was created.
Only wallet, which was developed by technically skilled BCT user for bounty.

Dev don t create nothing, except this thread. That s all.

If i m wrong, please, say why and where i m wrong.

Hello guys,

I have a problem with my wallet. It can't synchronize. It got stuck on 40001 block and keeps disconnecting.
Is there any problem with a network or the reason is different?

sounds like you guys missed the upgrade....

Mandatory upgrade

Hi All,

This is a mandatory upgrade as we have made a couple of significant changes to make the network more reliable and safe.

1. Core changed to Bytecoin 2.1.2
2. Increased Seed nodes from 2 to 5 which will be more than enough as per current stage of the project. We will add more as we get more traction.
3. Difficulty retargeting algo with change at block 40,000 to better handle instamine attacks and coin supply.
4. sikka.config modified to include block version upgrade, so it is mandatory to use latest binaries with the latest config file.
5. Checkpoints added to add another layer of security to the network.
6. Pool server, explorer server, and seed servers upgraded to latest version already.

New binaries along with new config are shared at this link

Anyone running old binaries with old config after block 40,000 will not be able to sync blocks or wallet. So upgrade within time.
NEW GUI WALLET WILL BE RELEASED SOON

Spread the word so that everyone can take action in time.

Thank you all for your support so far. We again expect more people to come forward to have a more participatory role in project development.

Those who want to trade Sikka on BT, should take at most care and should use the safest possible solution they have. Also, if community member can start a separate thread to their trading post, that will allow on this thread to focus on project related development talks.

You are right!! This helped me to resolve this problem! I don't know how could I missed that post Smiley
Thanks a lot.

Little cheat sheet for anyone who suffer from wallet problems:

1. BACKUP YOUR WALLET
2. Remove or rename folder c:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\sikka
3. Download and extract command line wallet from https://github.com/Sikka-Pay/Sikka/releases/tag/0.4.0
4. Run startCoin.bat and wait until synchronization will be finished. Console should display green sentence: "SYNCHRONIZED OK"
5. Leave the console open and start GUI wallet (downloaded from https://github.com/Sikka-Pay/Sikka/releases/download/0.3.1/Sikka-GUI-Windows-64.zip)
6. From file menu in GUI wallet choose Open wallet and select your wallet file. If your wallet is encrypted you have to type correct password
7. After a while you should see your transactions/earnings
8. This workaround should work, but in case of any problems with GUI wallet you can select "Local daemon" option: GUI_wallet -> Settings -> Preferences -> Connection tab -> Local daemon.

Happy mining!
