Buy altcoins or not?

I've been burned by shitcoin. They seem cheap and want them to go. However, money can be frozen for several years. It is better to take a proven coin. 2-3x within a couple of months and sell rather than wait for years when ever some sort of pump will occur

Yes you can invest in altcoins. Altcoins are better than equity shares. Altcoins can give 1000x returns and where equity shares cannot.So I suggest yiu to invest in altcoins.

The best advice I was given with Altcoins was dont panic if they drop in price, try to average down or look to buy more if you can see a future for it. Assume all altcoins are shitcoins, you are only buying them to get more BTC

With the upcoming fork, many have put their alts up for sale, after teh fork they will buy the holdings back, so now is a really good time to stock up and just wait for a week or so for markets to readjust

I wouldn't invest in altcoins. Maybe only in etherem or another alt with strong dev team (I think only ethereum). Bitcoin has overcome its problems and it is moving forward now. So alt bubble will deflate.

If you want to make some huge gains, check out NVO (NVST)
One of the first decentralized exchanges that are coming up. They will pay out the transaction fees to the holders of NVST.
They are launching their wallet somewhere in the following days/weeks. The price will probably go up x3 or x4 if you check out their Slack.

which is right mate, if you know how to work with finding quality coins then you can make a good earnings from alts trading but there's also some
risk so better to buy those coins who have a good system and development while its on its dip then wait after some time to gain profits.

in fact the best way to make money is certainly to "altcoins" but not all of them.I guess the bitcoin has now reached the required repletion. no matter how much money you are, it is very difficult to make your money with a bitcoin investment.but on the other hand if you can find a really solid project you can double your money in a very short time. we have seen more of this kind of projects that have multiplied themselves but we do not see them so often because of the situation of the market. it is already a waiting period. altcoins should definitely be taken when the market is fully stabilized. but not now i think.

Agreed buying good altcoins with higher volume and good reputation involves less risk of loosing money as if you buy it at low price and hold it till price goes higher it will definitely bring good and positive results for you but you need to make sure that you do your own research and know which is the best time to buy altcoins.

Its not good idea untill hardfork.You should wait for december. BTC keeps increasing. It must be stable soon.

With altcoins it is really hard to see a clear pattern or predict the direction of the development of certain coins. Even project regarded as interesting and unique might fail.
IMO the best strategy in this situation is simply to buy randomly: just pick every at lease somewhat interesting altcoin and buy it for $50-$500, depending on your budget.
In few years some of the altcoins you bought might skyrocket with price growth over 1000% - others will certainly either fall or won't be popular, but it is still worth the risk.

I think if buying altcoin this time is not the right time because the price is decreasing. Buy altcoin when there is a sign of going up it is the right time. And I recommend buying it after the upcoming hardfork

I would not suggest you to buy altcoins right now .bitcoin is showing tremendous amount of growth right now and we can still expect more growth from Bitcoin in the coming days.growth in price of Bitcoin is certain and the more Bitcoin will grow ,more the value of altcoins will decrease.
I think buying and holding bitcoins will be a way better option to ensure growth as well as safety of your principal amount.

I think investing in altcoin is better than investing in equities because the variation of choice is certainly more altcoin then the price of altcoin is also diverse so when the coin selection will be greatly helped

Have a look at some fundamental good coins, that have dumped a lot. Imho there are a lot of coins in red. And its always the best to pick some nice coins with a future after a dump! Best time to buy some alts now! I prefer high-caps!

It is really the best time to get those altcoins. Although, I am still trying to watch out if there is a possibility of some of them still dropping more before the second fork. So, at this stage, not buying too much of each of them in the top row or the fundamentals one so as to reserve incase is like a good option for me. It will always still be a win-win.
