Buy altcoins or not?

Yes it's more than necessary to invest if you want to earn money here. Bitcoin is no matter what good investment but sometime we need real quick profits which can be acquired from the altcoin investments. There is thing called as altcoin portfolio where people will invest money into different altcoin at the same time and will hold it for long time in the hope that some of them will ripen like sweet fruit to give us big returns. People have already earned a lot by this method, however you need lot of patience for this.

Well in my honest opinion you should alternative coins is another option for a good investment in cryptocurrencies.  There are lots of promising alternative coins and tokens at the moment. With good technology and good dev team. I can see that crypto world will play a big part in the future society

I believe it's way better to buy couple of different ones instead of sticking only with BTC. We know BTC is the safest investment for long term but if you want to make profit you should know how to play with alt coins. The real profit is there.

I agree with you. In my opinion, you should not just keep Bitcoin. It is better to buy and altcoins too - they grow in price quickly.

I totally agree with the previous posts to invest in altcoins. Best time to buy them is actually right now during the new years dip, alt season will start soon. But do your own research in which alt you want to invest by reading whitepaper and check the dev team etc.

If you are interested in making money faster and more efficiently you should definitely invest in alt coins. I know bitcoin is the safest choice but bitcoin has it limits and alltbcoins are ready to takeover. While prices are very low go and buy some good alt coins.

As for me I prefer to hold different coins. I believe that better to diversify your investment portfolio. So 40% of my money I hold in BTC and ETC because it is the safest investment for now. And other 60% I have to invest in different altcoins out of top-10. If you are not a professional trader I would recommend you to use same strategy for a long term.
Altcoins are very risky. Some of them can easily bring x5-x10 profit in short term. But you also can make a mistake and go down to zero.
If you are going to trade all day and night and don’t afraid to lose your money I suppose you gonna try it.

They say 2018 will be the year for the privacy coins and i like Turtlecoin (TRTL). Just over a month old and only just started trading on its first exchange, tradeogre.com a few days ago. Current price on tradeogre is 10sats - was 1sat earlier this week when it got listed.

Its easy to mine  - if you have a decent GPU you should be able to get 20K coins per day. A lot of folks are throwing nicehash power at the pools recently so mining payoff on your own GPU has come down a bit.

Agreed. This is why people hold btc for the long term investment and think it's the "safer" coin.

Most smaller alt coins are pretty good for a short term profit though.

Obviously I think equity shares are much better, but if you're just in the world of cryptocurrency, so you need altcoin to invest or trading, if you ask the reason because in my opinion many of us feel that altcoin is more useful now, even more daily trading I like because it is very volatile.
