Hey guys, also a total n00b, learning lots...

I only have $600 to invest (and investing another 100-200 a month after that) obv i wanna make money, but im not expecting # instarich gains, mostly just wanna hold and see where it leads me

Im way more interested in altcoins however, atm I have $100 in BTC and $100 in ETH...

any advice?

I would avoid BTC, I would rather invest 200$ in ETH, some in NEO, ADA. Buy some EOS tokens too - but research EOS before you buy it and be careful with it.
I recommend you should invest into Ethereum if you do not want to invest in Bitcoin, never choose EOS if you do not know the risk of this ICO project.
EOS is only a hype project and I just know that, there are not much information and reason to buy this token instead of Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Yes, it's the great time to buy up now because than all the altcoins will skyrocket again! As for which ones i recommend AION, REBL, EBTCH. All of them are really low right now and are undervalued. Time to get in it is right now!

I completely agree with you - now is a very good time to buy many coins. Except for those you listed, I recommend buying a ripple, Tron, Iota. I'm sure they will show excellent growth.

Only Ripple, yeah, I just have strong faith in the future of Ripple in your list.
Tron and Iota all increased its value and enough with the potential of these tokens.
While, Ripple can increases its value more to make the market cap increases enough to provide a service for huge users in the future.

Why Tron?

Do you think it will recover after the FUD? The whitepaper rumours were pretty damaging, and I haven't heard a good explanation yet from Justin or anyone on the team.

I own 700, so it would be great. But I don't see the hype.

Hello friend
altcoin is the best coin that has the greatest ROI possibilities
than Bitcoin, Altcoin is now more attractive to hold than holding BTC

Yes, I personally am holding some ETH and NEO. Investing in Altcoin has never been a bad idea. Because of lower investment costs, lower risk and, of course, lower margins. But I'm happy with that profit. I am considering buying some new altcoin in the near future.

The risk is still high IMO, we know that when bitcoin dump we dump also and when bitcoin pump sometimes we dump because investors
will put their money in bitcoin. I have altcoins but only for diversification as I know they have different purpose which are helpful to people, I can hold
like what I am doing with bitcoin but I have to limit my holdings.

Investing on bitcoins is the safe way of making money in long term.In general, investing in altcoins is more safe and flexible than dealing with papers. Ethereum is also an altcoin and now everyone can see its amazing success within just 2 years.

Are you sure? I don't think the risk and the margins of altcoin are lower than Bitcoin. Comparison the investment costs is wrong, because your profit calculate on the percent changes. About the risk and margins, according to my experience, I lost more money in altcoin than Bitcoin investment. Cheesy

If altcoin is falling you should buy it, because every coin will sometimes fall and rise. Its a risk i know but its worth to spend it. Don't invest all in just a small amount to begin with.

You can then learn if the coin is trusted so you can invest once again in the future to it.

In my opinion, Altcoins are actually going to surpass Bitcoin and ultimately as a whole, will be more attractive for the newcommers.
Why? It's simple. People don't want to invest in coins that already reached their limit, people want to invest in coins that will generate profit, A LOT OF PROFIT! And since they missed the inception of Bitcoin and Ethereum, what's left? The Altcoins, of course, which are comming out like flies.

But you can not store coins only in order to earn later on the difference in price. At least there are some projects that bring profit to those people who store their coins on their wallets.

I prefer investing in crypto, then equity shares. We have a lot more flexibility here and the markets are going 24/7. Crypto trading is running without regulations for now and this is good, I think.

Depends on the altcoin, of course. Don't really see the point here.
