Personally I hold and accumulate but occasionally cash in small amounts when I feel price is especially high and likely to come down. I then use these for necessary purchases and certain luxuries. For me, Altcoins are profitable in long term investment, because altcoins are down trending when Bitcoin up/down trending hardly and this is a great opportunity to buy more and more. Smart investor who is thinking about increasing his/her portfolio by buying at lowest price. For which is better, i recommend to you Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cardano.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

People are keep on asking buy or not i would say if your not having confidence dont invest if your really interested do lots of research on high potential coins and invest systematically dont go with greedy or panic mindset both are dangerous while trading.
