Between the 2...I'd go with BAT

To me, the three worst investment choices among the top 50 coins are XRP, USDT and SC.

In general, I don't like Ripple. It's obsolete. So If I need to choose between those two, I will go with BAT. Currently BAT is just 20c which is OK.

I should agree because BAT has much lower capitalization and much higher chances to multiply it! But ripple is good for savings Wink

I would choose bat because bat is new coin and also very good project as ripple so holding bat long term may be better option, ripple's market cap is also too high, bat is better for little investors.

BAT is relatively new. While ripple has been rising and falling and is still in high falling stage (likely to fall more).
BAT would be better if you want to buy now.

I prefer ripple over the BAT. Ripple is among the top 5 coin market cap wise and being their for now long time. It has gone though different phases and this make its more stronger than a new coin. Also as per the price analysis large movement seems to be on the cards as per one of the article I had read about ripple.

If I were you I would choose. Bat is new and it has really great potential. Digital advertising is very great revenue generating thing over internet so I think it will be great in future.

These two coins are in totally different market areas. Hard to choose one over the other
so probably best to own some of both.

Why not buy into both? Both are in accumulation zones right now and can do a shoot up to the moon. I already have money invested in both these, so I would suggest that you should split your capital and invest in these both.

For me, I will choose BAT over ripple for long term. But in view of the ripple events coming up in Oct, it is good to buy some ripple for short term.

If my choices were to invest in BAT or Ripple.  I would choose BAT for the long term investment.  BAT has a much lower marketcap which means there's much more room for growth in the price.

I would choose BAT , because this is a new coin, and also a very good project, and the volatility of this coin is high, so for long it may be the best option.

Between Ripple and BAT I would choose Ripple. Digital advertising it is not permanent. Today, there is demand for it, and tomorrow may not be. Ripple also serves the banking system, allowing you to speed up the conduct of bank transfers in seconds and anywhere in the world. This need is more constant, therefore the demand for it will only increase.

I am more familiar with ripple, so my priority to xrp as an investment option. Especially, current price very cheap is interesting enough to buy more xrp.

Bat or Ripple?
What i would recommend is that you get both, diversify your portfolio, and if either one grows in price earlier than the other you will make your profits.
Investing regularly and in different coins (of course after good research) in the long term will make you good money.

Both have potential. But as you never know what can happen in the future, you should buy both and diversify your portfolio.

as I pointed on another thread, ripple has a lawsuit going on for 1 billion worth of xrp over a canceled contract
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/1-billion-ripple-r3-file-dueling-lawsuits-over-cancelled-partnership/

again not saying it's good or bad
