If it were just for those two coins I'd go with BAT. I would never go with Ripple which is totally obsolete. Why invest in a coin which is clearly totally centralized with all their "regulations". It just doesn't undergo the term "crypto currency" which the base of it is decentralization.
Although I'm not the type of person that jumps into new coins and projects without some wise thinking but bat looks not bad. It'd actually get you some solid profits out of it. Normally I just stick with well known coins that's been around for awhile like eth, zec, xmr.

Ripple seriously mate? since none of you own a bank then you have no reason to buy and trade Ripple unless you are retarded, I'm a bank and want
To transfer millions of dollars every day to several countries, I would convert the money into a cheap cryptocurrency to reduce the costs only if all of
The other banks I'm doing business with accept that cryptocurrency. now why do I need to pay a company to provide the cryptocurrency to me when
I can make one and ask all the banks to join me in using it?. Bat is supposed to replace chrome and all other browsers but for now is asking me for
Money, it takes a long time to load pages and uses too much of my resources, if I didn't know better I could accuse them of using my CPU to mine
Some coin like Xmr, I'd go with Bat they might improve the Brave browser in the future.

Both have potential. But as you never know what can happen in the future, you should buy both and diversify your portfolio.
Yes both has the potential to be profitable. Bat and ripple can also gives you profit when you know how to trade these. Yes spread your investment not on only one coin.

Nothing to compare this two coins.
Ripple is far more superior and I would choose to invest in it. It has been around for quite some time and is here to stay.
I believe that during 2017 XRP will hit 1$

But there is less than two months before 2017 ends, and you think that ripple will make a x5? wow.. i have never read this kind of stu**d speculations. why do you think it will be $1 before 2018? do you have any proofs to say that? or you are just speculating? By the way, i dont think that ripple would be more than $0,50 , and you can investigate it by yourself, ripple has a lot of supply and it is impossible to reach more than $1

There is no comparison between BAT and Ripple as they both are used for different fields. But any day I will go with Decentralized BAT rather than Centralized Ripple!

Hi friends, can you please suggest which one may be good for long term investment Ripple or BAT? Thanks Ripple and BAT is completely different coins and for different fields of activity. But if choose from this two coins - my choice definitely BAT. I trust in BAT devs and I like Brave browser.

There's almost no info on BAT on the Internet and that's definitely not good for the coin. Yet of curse there's discussion of it on Reddit and here, so it's not nothing. As for Ripple - well, apart from their own website, there's an article on Wikipedia and exchange websites. I would say the projects are quite different to be compared and, as ripple is already in top 5, I guess we shouldn't expect it going further, whereas the new coin BAT offering an interesting project (rewarding advert's readers and publishers) has more chances to go up. The only bad thing about it all is that I don't see any project the coin is involved in.

BAT definitely
Ripple is main stream which will be pumped when news is out and whales get in
BAT has dedicated Developer, constant updates, and of course low supply compare to Ripple

Hi friends, can you please suggest which one may be good for long term investment Ripple or BAT? Thanks BAT and Ripple are completely different things, they're not competitors. But I wouldn't choose either of them. I'd probably go with something like NEO or even just bitcoin.

Hi friends, can you please suggest which one may be good for long term investment Ripple or BAT? Thanks for long-term investment I seem to prefer Ripple because Ripple always has a high volume and the price is more stable. and for BAT I prefer investing in the short term.

I'd go for BAT, although BAT is just a token it has a more decentralise structure than ripple. Ripple only make sense when you're a banker trying to step-up your legacy systems and for that matter bankers won't even need to use xrp, it is a psychological marketing to pump price where in reality xrp's utility is just its existence alone.

You could choose any coin and it would garanteed to be a better investment than ripple. Ripple ist just a ghost. Not even a cryptocurrency. It had that mother of all pumps once which was driven by pure hype and since then it's only going down. Please do yourselve a favour and don't touch ripple. I think the only people that are still promoting ripple are the ones who bought in on the top and still own a huge stack they want to get ride off.

Ripple is oldie now and it has no value anymore because of the lawsuit stuff happening around the centralised company. It was supposed to happen because they made it regulated currency and we all know such things can not be controlled us but law applies there.
BAT is completely new and can be trusted more often than ripple. Obviously at least for the initial phases bat will give us potentially god return and the future is always far so we shouldn't be bothering about it much. From the two above BAT would be the one man.
