the first time I trade Bitcoin and Altcoin I also feel the same way as you. Can not sleep, always restless and worried.
That's all fair because we do not know about price movements and potential against a coin.
the solution is to frequently join and discuss with seniors about trading Bitcoin and altcoin. because if you are used to you will remain calm and patient even though the coins you hold are down.

It's just the same with me, when I first started trading and got a big profit and I became over trading and finally got loss. Over trading is not good for trader and will be far to get consistent profit because it will make us not able to control the emotions, and will be always greedy when taking profit, then when buy coin before at overbought area and finally we get loss. From my experience, good Trading is keep focused to analyzing the market but not over trading and always keep emotions, do not greedy, and sleep enough and share strategy with other profesional trader in group traders .

Reading your post makes me remember my beginning trading days and I assume you are new to crypto trading as well. The excitement will be there for quite a few months because our mind will always wait for the outcome of the investment. As months pass by and you gain experience the excitement will be gone since you will start to believe in yourself. This happens with the most of us. But I would like to say you that not all the investments turn out to be profitable, some times we have to face losses too. But don't be depressed because of that since it's a part of the trading game where one wins and the other lose.

Honestly, I have been trading for about 2 years seriously and can say I don't like the term "full time trader" nor do I think anyone should aspire to be such, let me articulate a bit. First of all trading isn't a linear profession in that if you sit in front of your computer for 40 hours a week it doesn't result in X income -- to the contrary you will have weeks upon weeks of grinding out small gains or losses near break even followed by a few weeks of the year where you probably make over 80% of your yearly income. The thing is you can't just be on vacation during all that down time as the setups present themselves in windows and they come and go quickly enough that if you aren't holding your finger to the pulse of the market you will miss most of the moves. So in order to do so you still need to be engaged but I would say you should find other things to do to make money and occupy time that is of productive nature -- that includes trading other markets as well as doing work completely unrelated to the markets to keep your mind fresh.

ICO has the potential to grow your capital invested a lot but not all the ICO’s will do that to your funds. There are some that drowned many traders investment, also the ICO sometimes are scams so you have to evaluate and identify the real business people and the scammers before you put in your funds.
ICO’s are trendy nowadays and are widely used for funds collections in digital currency market. They are easy to participate and have almost instant results as compare to any other business.

That is exactly how I was when I started to trade, too much worried whether the price is going to go up or down, the worst trade was when I got profit from 3 days trade and it is gone within hours, crypto currencies is a very good asset to trade but the volatility is very high, so it need extra caution to make a trade

The volatility can surely be tiring sometimes but there is nothing we can do about if at least for now. However, from what you said, you got profit from 3 days trade and it was gone within hours ? Why will you leave your trade without at least setting an auto sell order if you are not present at that time. Don't look for high peaks, just always find the best place profitable for you that you know you cannot miss out if it climbs up.

A couple of years ago, I was trading ETH in a range of around $1 to $1.30. If I remember correctly, I was buying at about $1 and selling at about $1.30 as it was bouncing around in that range. I did that for a while and then moved on to something else. I'm kicking myself for not holding on to a few hundred ETH's. I did the same for Darkcoin(Dash) and Litecoin when they were around $5 per coin. I didn't hold on to any of those either.

I remember when Im new into trading the worse moment I had when Ive become a panic trader because of the price that falls down. Wrong analysis, impulsive buyer and seller happens in me during those days when Im new in trading. These resulted into lose of money but that's not stopping me to learn even more. Lastly, the good when I experience of earning profit.

Trading is not a easy subject.When we buy any coin and its price to dump we are really upset for this.Another we get some profit and buy coin and after few hour we saw price are double.I make any decession before buy or sell any coin its best way to more profitable.Never add your emotional in your tradding partform you will be loser

Trading is an excitement for those who believe that their targets will be reached whereas it becomes a matter of sorrow and anxiety to know the trend as well as circumstances of the markets for those who think too much of it all day long which is why I never traded. No need to worry while you can divert your mind in different activities and stop your mind from thinking about it.

Most ICOs are actually scam. Just a pump and dump scheme. Most ICOs don't even have a working platform. An easy way for the scammers to make some quick money and run away. You will need to do a lot of findings to get the right ICO and invest on it. Just the whitepaper won't help though. You will need to look who the developers are and is the project worth investing on.

Do you think the idea of hold really works out..why can't I just sell a certain coin bfor it deeps more..and then buy when market are recovering..all the Hodl I did leaves me in loss..BTC is always bullish(be it wen it falling or rising)..altcoins always lack behind in recovery

When I first tried to trade, I cannot sleep also because I am always thinking what if the price go down and during that time, I would just jump from one coin to another without a trading plan. I would follow what others are buying and most of the time, I am at a loss because I am impatient and sell the coin because its going down and would end up going up later on. I hate myself for being impatient. I am always thinking of getting a profit and the things I would be able to buy if I can have huge profits but I never have a stop loss or trailing stop loss to secure profits set up so more often than not, I would end up selling it at a loss because I am still hoping that it will go up.

I am fed up with all my losses that I almost broke my laptop but realized that if others can do it why can't I? The mistake I made is that I immediately jump in to trade without even thinking of reading up about trading cryptocurrencies. Now, I am learning continuously fundamental analysis, technical analysis, risk management and market psychology and the importance of a trading plan.

I am sure that you would have learnt a lot from that mistake and you will for sure take care of that thing in the future. As far as bitcoin/altcoin trading is concerned, I think of it as the best thing to do being a trader. Both these coins are the leading coins in the world of crypto currencies and you will have a huge amount of profit by making wise decisions while trading them.

There should be a sense of calm and also the right thinking in choosing a coin that we will trade. because the wrong coin selection can make us lose. I am a person who does not want to take risks, so I do a pretty long analysis in choosing a coin. it will make me more confident with what I do. it's better to try long enough than think for a while just for mistakes.
