It is hard to watch thew whole session I hope soon dev will post the summary of that AMA session than it will be easy to read about details of some important question. Idea does seem similar, but it looks like they are going towards self-running / sufficient energy; not exactly the same as WePower.

I am not quite sure about Elon City Model so I do not know if there will be profits but let's keep this thread towards WePower .

Having had a quick look at ElonCity, they are looking at micro grids and addressing an entirely different issue in the renewable energy sector, thus I would not say that they are strictly a competitor to WePower. Holding the WPR tokens gives you multiple benefits, including access to the contributors pool, as well as priority access to auctions that occur on the platform. The contributors pool will receive 0.9% of all energy that is auctioned off on the platform, and will be proportionally divided amongst the WPR token holders on the platform(via energy tokens = 1KWH each). Outside of that, WPR is an ERC-20 token and can be tradeable.
