Basically, Bitcoin is a limited currency full of potential. More and more people are starting to see the potential and the demand for it increases, which is reflected by the price. The rarer the piece, the higher the value.

Simple answer, supply and demand, give a commodity its price and value. That is what is happening with Bitcoin. It will even get more expensive with time as the awareness for its usage increases. Remember that Bitcoin total supply is just 21 million which really isn't much. Also, any coin that has increased usage and little supply will always have increased price...  |

Bitcoin is so expensive for many reasons.
Firstly,the number of bitcoin in this world is not many.It's a kind of limited.It can be compared with gold.As the number of gold is not many,so it's so precious.Bitcoin is just like so.
Another point is the buyers of bitcoin is increasing gradually and the supply of bitcoin is always less tgan the demand.So,the price of bitcoin is rising fast.
Actually,the popularity of bitcoin made it so expensive.

Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.
bitcoin is very expensive because bitcoin is a new digital currency and is in use for the future because bitcoin does not need to use paper or is often called a reduction in paper usage, and not only that, very high bitcoin demand and bitcoin gain is very difficult also be triggers overcharged bitcoin prices. |

Bitcoin is so expensive because bitcoin demand is higher than production. So many people use bitcoin now in many ways. So many people started trust on bitcoin. Some countries started legal bitcoin in their country. So the price of bitcoin is so much expensive.

Because btc is limited supply in unlimited and unstoppable growth and demand of the people.
Simple reason and beautifully briefed here. Yes it is all the about the game of supply and demand. Bitcoins are limited, although that is very big number but still if you compare that number of 21 million with 7 trillion and even more than this, definitely that is a problem. So demand is much more while supply is limited so prices are getting high because of shortage of bitcoins in market. |

Simple, more and more Bitcoins are being mined, thus, decrease in supply. But demand is rapidly increasing making the value higher. So, higher demand with lesser supply = higher price. |

It's actually still cheap if you'd ask me. On the long term it will offer great returns and it's full of opportunities. As far as I am concern, Bitcoin will never be suitable to be used by the masses, altcoins are much better for that. |

Yes bitcoin is very expensive today because it's bitcoin has been always in the news as the leading cryptocurrency which has many users and investors and for that reason its value is always rising high, its just like selling a very hot commodity where every one wants a piece of it right now so that's why bitcoin is so expensive right now.

when there are too much demands for an asset it will automatically increase in price and when its supply is limited it gets value even more, thats why btc is expensive now
