It is not gambling. People think that it might be but this is mostly because of the huge ups and downs on the bitcoin price level. It will be stabilize in mid term in my opinion.
The ups and downs are indeed the reason for them to think that there is a gambling that is happening in bitcoin but they didn't know that the huge ups and downs are just part of bitcoin's market since it is decentralized and there is no regulation that maintaining a certain level of the price of bitcoin. But at the end of the day, it will not consider as a gambling because it is an investment and asset. For those who understand the system then it is not a gambling but and investment where we are expecting great profits in returned, bitcoin have corrections and this are the reason why people thinks that the market is like a type of gambling, those who are playing short might be in a same like, but those who are believing that bitcoin is an asset would believe that it's not a gambling at all. |

Bitcoin is not a gambling.Maybe the one who said that, doesn't know really bitcoin.Bitcoin is bitcoin.bitcoin is digital currency,How can they say that bitcoin is gambling.If bitcoin is gambling and bitcoin is digital currency how about our currency,is it also a gambling?But it can use into gambling,but doesn't mean that bitcoin is gambling.

Bitcoin is not gambling it is used for investment purpose and in every investment there is risk involved it may rise or fall but we cannot say that it is gambling

Yes its not gambling, its just a new way of investment. It is seen as illegal because it is getting used in criminal activities and other reason is that its transaction cannot be controlled by any government till now.

Hello everybody. Bitcoin is not gambling - who will argue with this? But, my personal opinion - if you treat Bitcoin as a gambling game, in the end you will lose your money. For gambling people pay with huge money, basically getting only adrenaline, losing money, but Bitcoin, is an absolutely incompatible concept. For me, in the first place, it is the advanced technology of blockchain, and a bright representative of the crypto currency world. Bitcoin, - will make the world a better place, gambling, - not the best thing that a man came up with.

But since you mentioned about investment, investing in bitcoin is a lot of risk. So some people said that it is like gambling or feels like gambling. It is because of the risk we take wjen we invest with it. My boyfriend once told me that because of bitcoin he learned how to gamble. Which I told him that bitcoin is not like that. |

Gambling happens surrounding bitcoin. But bitcoin is just a currency which is getting enough popularity due to wonderful blockchain tech. Whales are seeking benefit out of it. They can manipulate the price and therefore btc is quite volatile in nature

Indeed many people say bitcoin is gambling because its value is not as stable. But I myself do not see bitcoin as gambling but cryptocurrency or as an investment and it is very profitable. |

It is not about gambling your money but about risking your money in investing because you might lost some of your investment due to volatility, corrections and bad news if you are being too emotional on the downfall

Well it is actually a gamble,most investments are a gamble, when you risk something and you don't know whether the thing you risked is going to be successful or not, you are taking a gamble and to me they are the very same thing. Am sure those who invested when BTC was $19K gambled and most of them lost. |

Bitcoin is not gambling it is a currency in the internet called crypto currency. Many people think bitcoin is just a scam and a gambling. But i try to explain to them the basic mechanics in this forum so some of them tried it, then they thank me when they get profit in it. Some of my friends that i convince is always treating me in some ways. Bitcoin is not gambling it may called gambling when investing is too risky an you are not sure with your decisions.

After investing in Bitcoin,will investors fear? I think most investors are scared.Because Bitcoin investments are not 100% profitable.Bitcoin purchased in December last what will they do now?They are holding Bitcoin. Now selling they get lot of loss .But last March -November buyers in Bitcoin November there will be more money in December.So it's called gambling. all of the crypto currency investments not 100% profitable.Its just like a gambling.

Yes, I agree with your opinion. Bitcoin is not gambling. I think it is very necessary for human life is not a form of gambling. Gambling is illegal and investing in bitcoin is not illegal. So bitcoin is not gambling. Hopefully those who view bitcoin as a form of gambling will understand this issue.

THE VERY LIFE THAT WE LIVE IS A GAMBLE. you are never guaranteed you will live to see the next minute, you are never guaranteed your relationships will work, nothing in life is guaranteed and as such everything is a gamble and that suggest based on deduction that everything associated with being alive is a gamble. So the question should really be are some gambles more achievable or more worthwhile than others.Bitcoin is what our progeny will come to know as money , what they will take for granted as the means for buying stuff they need.We can fight it all we want but its coming.
