I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
People around me also thought that Bitcoin is Gambling. I just quiet and smiling when they say that, they don't know about Bitcoin. Bitcoin indeed can be use to play gambling, but Bitcoin is not part of Gambling. You are right. I think there are people that are judgmental. Bitcoin is such a good one. Everyone who doesnt know about Bitcoin thinks its gambling. But once you experience it, you would probably say the other way around. |

People around me also thought that Bitcoin is Gambling. I just quiet and smiling when they say that, they don't know about Bitcoin. Bitcoin indeed can be use to play gambling, but Bitcoin is not part of Gambling. I agree, people who hold bitcoins have all the power to choose where to use their bitcoins whether as their daily allowance/ budget, as investment or for trading and sadly some also use it for gambling and other illegal acts even if those are not allowed. But I suggest that if there will be opportunity for you to teach others about bitcoin, please do teach them so we can show them the good things about bitcoin. |

Nope, bitcoin isn't a gambling brcause bitcoin as we all know is a currency not a game. Yes, bitcoin can be linked to gambling because this bitcoin are the things used today in gambling. And many people will definitely agree that bitcoin isn't a gambling. And also, I think this bitcoin will somehow become a gambling if we used it as itself in gambling like coin toss, adding or other games that are bitcoin itself is used as a thing. |

I strongly agree with this opinion. bitcoin is not a gamble, in fact it's very different. even you can be on salary using bitcoin. someone will not be on salary using a chip from gambling. well, i feel that very big difference between bitcoin and gambling.

Yes, I agree with your opinion about bitcoin instead of gambling. Bitcoin is a profitable investment field, just like gold. But bitcoin is bigger than gold in value. |

What makes they think bitcoin is gambling ? You may use bitcoin for gambling, but bitcoin is not gambling at all. It is about the cryptocurrency that we used for many things. Same for other crypto like altcoins.

I think it can be considered gambling by some - the UK tax authority do not see it as gambling (otherwise it would be tax exempt).

It's a little gambling for some people. As long as you give your money to speculations, will it go down, will it go up, some people will just fear that their money could be lost forever. Myself, I see this gambling as an investment. |

It must be noted that bitcoins is digital currency revolution and not a gamble. It almost looks like she's a layman. Because, she's can not distinguish between the two (investment and gambling). But in my opinion, the gamble scheme similar to investment scheme , since investment decision-making was similar to risk decision-making of a gamble. |

What you have stated is a fact. It is not a gambling but a currency, a cryptocurrency. If cryptocurrencies are gambling then you could say so does the usual money. Yes, bitcoin could include gambling but it is not a money its self, same goes with the money. There are games available or ggambling sites avaliable for you to play but it is your choice if you prefer to join. |

Sometimes I think it is gambling because it drops or rise so quickly,but sometimes I think bitcoin is a kind of currency,it can be investm not gambling .so i am confused too
bitcoin is a digital currency and can not say bitcoin is gambling because it's not gambling, you can invest your money into bitcoin and can keep it in the long run and you can sell it when the bitcoin price goes up as you wish, so I do not think bitcoin gambling but buying and selling in the market. |

Yah i don’t consider bitcoin as gambling, for me it is an investment with a bit of risk also,everything in this world has always a risk, but of course has a high potential to make money and make you rich too especially if putting it on long term, so for me i see it that way, a good investment and i will continously hold bitcoin for the future😃

For me investing in bitcoin is consider gambling because you put your trust in one coin and thinking that it can give you profit for a long time. When you invest in a single currency, it is considered gamble already.
