Hi sir,I have an issue with sending my bitcoins from my bustadice account.I can't able to send my bits to segwit address, and no problem in sending to the legacy address.
So this issue is only for me or everyone has that issue?I hope you will help me in this case.

We do not yet support bech32 addresses (like bc1qar0srrr7xfkvy5l643lydnw9re59gtzzwf5mdq), but it's on our list of planned features.

Since bech32 addresses are still uncommon, an unwanted side effect of implementing withdrawals to them right now would be to make it much easier to reliably track bustadice's hot wallet, so we're holding off a little.

Eventually perhaps, but I currently don't have any specific plans to accept additional currencies.
do have to think so. because anything that will be done desperately needs a review. although there are many who suggest to open altcoin services for gambling. but maybe you as the owner is worth to consider from all aspects
But he already told about his decision about accepting other currencies. He told no for just now but in future maybe he will change his decision. But if other coins accepted then there maybe more players will come here to play .

More coin does not determine how much players that want to come but it is sure to have more variances for people to play so this will attract more people on it. But what casino is not just many people but what they need to have is some loyal one. If they have so many players but only play for once, this will be useless thing for them

Yeah right, even if bustadice accepts one crypto currency if it has lot's of loyal players that wouldn't be an issue at all, besides I know many successful dice game site and casino site here that only accepts single currency but has been running for almost a decade now and I'm pretty sure bustadice can also reach that.

Electrum supports bech32. So does the latest release candidate of Bitcoin Core, and so does Samourai wallet. Those are just the ones I use that I know off the top of my head. I understand the privacy concern though.

I have been seeing even more sites using these new bech32 addresses being used for deposits.
I think I even seen the binance exchange using them for new deposits since their update of the site which concluded yesterday according to their official reddit page posted last night.

Thanks for clearing my doubt, but I really don't know what is bech32 address,I tried to send my bitcoins to my electrum wallet but there is no sending option there. So that may be the bech32 address.

Basically bech32 is referring to a Segwit address. And some services, or actually most services don't support that yet.

Wait a few months and just send to your regular BTC address starting with 1.

Also since you are using Electrum , use it in cold storage for extra protection.

Just use an old laptop and if you don't have one just use an old hard drive

I think it will be a problem if you keep your android always online,if you have installed electrum on it.Because recently hackers stole the funds from electrum wallets if you keep you system online,so it may happen with mobile phones too,so it is better to keep only in desktop if your holding large funds and keep a separate elctrum wallet on mobile to use on daily basis.(probably no need I think)

Eventually perhaps, but I currently don't have any specific plans to accept additional currencies.
do have to think so. because anything that will be done desperately needs a review. although there are many who suggest to open altcoin services for gambling. but maybe you as the owner is worth to consider from all aspects

but still it is great that the gambling site like bustadice will accept different kinds of altcoin because others are prefered to play with alts due to its low fee . I cant see  aspects  that must be consider will be the hindrance  if your site will be the best site ever if you put alts on your site .

I have been using bustadice since 1 month and i have to say it is one of the most rewarding gambling sites available out there in the market. The website seems pretty fair and has quite an interesting interface which is very interactive and easy to use.
The team of bustabit monitors and controls the site and you have to admit that the team is pretty strong and dedicated. It's a good and legit gambling site.

But hopefully mate that will happen maybe they introduce another crypto-currencies someday but as of now let's wait for another improvement in bustadice that maybe sir devans will announcement it here. For sure it takes a long time of process in maintenance for accepting other new coin or altcoins for the top up of your bustadice account. Being of high fees in bitcoin transactions, some gamblers did not invest on gambler site.

Yes, I believe they have really strong team to keep this site really alive but it does not have really many players around right? But they are having some big whale to play with their huge amount. It is not easy to maintain their bankroll aa 20 btc for current price, more over if there is a big win they still maintain it at 20 btc too. This is really awesome for their job

Btw OP do bustabit and bustadice now merging and sharing their bankroll?

I do agree, thay have been doing very good job and I love to play in bustadice, but still we need more players to become more strong gambling site.

He already answered that he will run the bustadice and bustabit separately and no decisions made about merging them yet.But in future maybe.

Electrum supports bech32. So does the latest release candidate of Bitcoin Core, and so does Samourai wallet.

The issue is that very few gambling sites or exchanges allow you to withdraw to a bech32 address. So if just one popular site implements bech32 withdrawals, their transactions will be easily identifiable.

I addressed that in the last sentence of my message, which you left out for some reason.

Electrum supports bech32. So does the latest release candidate of Bitcoin Core, and so does Samourai wallet. Those are just the ones I use that I know off the top of my head. I understand the privacy concern though.

Sending to native segwit addresses (i.e. a bech32 address) is pretty easy, but what a site like bustadice probably really wants to is (occasionally) also use bech32 change addresses in order to make it difficult to ever reliably tell what is change and what is the "destination". If you can prevent the identification (and creation) of change enough, you can pretty much break tracking services that primarily rely on wallet clustering to work.

Definitely a cool feature to add though

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

I agree with what you are saying but i don't think it's for privacy reasons.

I think it's for efficiency reasons. Basically they want the source to be fully segwit and both the destination and destination change ( or segwit hot wallet) all are fully segwit.

This way it would save max space.

But as per the statement of devans he is holding of the bech32 address for the privacy issues. But I am not an expert in these kind of discussion so I don't know what will be the privacy concern if we implement the bech32 address.
