There are two things that i can think of when we're talking about the disadvantages of BTC, first is it's volatile (yeah i know it can be advantage as well) holding BTC will be really risky for the value is erratic and very unpredictable, and the other thing is it can't operate offline, there's no way you can do any transaction offline.

There are few disadvantages of Bitcoin. Hard forks are usually good because they help to break tension but unfortunately, people who are new to cryptocurrencies become confused and they don't know which Bitcoin is the real one. Bitcoin wasn't designed to be used for daily transaction (for example in store). It needs some upgrades before we will use it in our every day lifes.

Bitcoin has a lot of disadvantages too which are being tried to solve actually. One of them is the transaction fees and confirmation time problem. These both problem are actually related.i will count price voilation as an advantage thought it is the reason of a big deachi once. Third I will point to the trust people are trusting it blindly so it should not break it.

The disadvantages are obvious. Transfer often jams. I'm used to ETH. But I will continue to buy BTC, because BTC is more suitable for investment.

The main disadvantage of bitcoin according to me is that bitcoin is highly volatile. Younever know in the future its prices are gonna high or low. In the past it has been recorded that within the span of one year bitcoin bubble burst and its prices decreased by 71℅.
Also since it has not been accepted by many countries makes it a great disadvantage.

for me it would be the huge use of electricity that i hope bitcoin will overcome someday other than that i think bitcoin is good form of money that could replace or change the idea of fiat someday

Restaurants and shops do not accept Bitcoin here in my country. I have to exchange it for the national currency at first. Also a disadvantage is the high volatility of it's price.

Lol! Firstly your country is not accepting bitcoin that’s not the disadvantage of bitcoin that is the flaw of your government and people who are not synchronizing with outer world and on top of this you talked about its volatility, volatility is the main thing that bring so high profit to the investor as it’s price will become stable at one value there will be no profit and there will be no more user rushing toward it. |

disadvantage of Bitcoin is that it is very volatile and price of bitcoin keeps changing very fast and sharply which is not the case with other currencies which are very stable. And there is a limited amount of coins and the demand for them increases by each passing day. |

Base on my searching on the internet it is because Lack of Awareness & Understanding because the fact is many people are still unaware of digital currencies and Bitcoin. And p eople need to be educated about Bitcoin to be able to apply it to their lives. |

absolutely true that even how good bitcoin is, but still we can't deny that there are still some disadvantages one of the most disadvantage is that it is not accessable if we are offline or without internet so in most country that internet are not fully optimise to the public its hard to use it anytime. |

1. Increasingly higher transaction fees.
2. Increasingly higher transaction confirmation times.
3. Cannot get back if you send to wrong address.
4. Can easily get scammed due to above mentioned reason.
5. Very hard for noobs to learn about and figure out how to buy it in their country.
There are more, but these are the first that come to my mind.

There are many disadvantages of bitcoins One of the main disadvantage of bitcoin its mining takes a lot of time and the influence of ban of bitcoins in some part of the world leads to a negative impact which decreases its value leading to loss for the investors.

The disadvantage of bitcoin for me is we can't use it offline, and some store don't accept bitcoin. The price also is easily move and hoping that always increase.

For me the disadvantage of bitcoin to be honest it's hard to know or predict the value of bitcoin so the disadvantage is if you buy a bitcoin and the price of bitcoin became decrease and if youdont have a patience i think you'll become loss just for my opinion. |

Bitcoin has not been fully used as a transaction tool, it still needs refinement. Especially if living in a country that has not legalized bitcoin, tastes like vegetables without salt, high value but can not be used in my own country except with online purchases.

We all know the advantage of the bitcoins is through its value. Bitcoin has a very high value if we excahnge this into fiat money. However it has also a disadvantage which is nowadays not all people know its existence. I think that is one of the disadvantage of bitcoins.
