Im using my mtgox username. We never changed that, right?

are you guys using the right username? it's not your email.
Yes - I used the username at the Forgot login form - and that worked.

Anyway - if someone else has the same problem, maybe we'll check what we have in common.  Did you have a long password?  After all the security hopla I devised mine to be 17 characters.   Did you have two accounts at mtgox with the same email?  Did you have a substantial balance at your account?

Yes, i have a 20 character long password. I only have one account. I had 396$.

I have a giant password, looks just like a BTC transfer address only twice as long.

Ya know, I think it might be completely okay to resubmit a claim, and change the password during that.
But don't do that until someone else verifies it will work.

For those unable to login try copying and pasting the password into the box instead of typing it.

I had a long password and couldn't login. This may indeed be the pattern.

Even very long passwords with non-alphanumeric characters work fine.

There is a lockout after 10 wrong login attempts (said MagicalTux on IRC).  Don't know how long this lockout lasts.
