Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!

I agree, You will also feel the importance of your family's presence when you are alone in other country working. The sacrifice of being away from them just to give them a better life is one of the way to show them how much we love them. Sadly, there are family members who also take advantage of the person who is working abroad. My prayer is that all of the people can stay in their own country with better opportunities so that they don't have to leave their families. Its not always about the money we can give but also our presence and time to bond with them.

Going abroad is not really that easy for them to separate to their love ones, I know its hard  for them to do it. But because they have dreams to their own family, they are very much willing to sacrifice their own happiness just for the sake of the future that they wan it to be happen.

It's a sacrifice since you'd have to deal with homesickness (which can lead to depression) not to mention having to work on a small budget. I have relatives working abroad so I know. America and Europe seem fine when it comes to worker's right though. It seems most of the abuse happen in the Middle East, and to some extent East Asia.

Yes absolutely correct. It is very hard because first and foremost, you are working thousand of miles away from your family or love one. In that reason it is very hard to wake up every morning realizing that you are the only one in your home. Then you need to work alone, in the morning no one will cook for you, no one will wash your clothes, no one will help you just your self.

although it is a great sacrifice as you leave your family and loved ones behind to go and work in someone's country, it also helps especially the young to be independent. Besides it also helps you to make new friends outside your country.

It really is a sacrifice.. Many of my family members (relatives) work abroad and i can tell that it is really hard. Working in a foreign country alone, no family to cheer you up. You just have yourself to rely on.. Thats why all those who work are their family's heroe.

The most difficult part is not seeing family for years. Travelling back home could be really expensive for the people working aboard though some companies do provide paid vacations.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. You shuould never forget this. But I still see nothing bad in moving abroad together with your family if your homeland does not or isn't able to give you the opportunity to live in prosperity and feel safe every day of your life. If you have nothing to lose - move!

I tried to do it a few years ago but struggled. New culture and different standards in food is very difficult to get used too. Then when you don't see your family for a very long time you start to miss them. It was my dream job too and what others would consider a holiday destination. But it just wasn't right for me and I ended up moving back home in 2 years

OF course it is I have a sister who is working abroad and it is very hard for herand for us too. One important thing to note also is that the person living abroad takes a lot of stress as she is constantly being bombarded by homesickness and stress at work and there is no family to go home to.

I have so much respect for the Overseas workers all over the world because of the sacrifices they've done to give their families at home a better future in life and to sustain their needs for their every day lives. My father was an Overseas Worker in Dubai and I owe my father almost everything i have.

Yes i agree with what you have stated.  But being a person who choose to work abroad so that they can give their family abetter future. Its hard, they need to sacrifice a lot for the future. Working so hard to other places that has differ culture its really hard to work but for their family they qill do anything.

I am working abroad for 11 years now. I don't think that it is much of a sacrifice. If I stay in Nepal, I will not be able to get such a good job and handsome salary. Here, I was able to save a lot of money and purchase a house and a vehicle. But my dream is to settle down in my place of birth. So once I am able to save a lot of money, I will be going back to my hometown.

I will add the goals and determination, you must always think why you are in abroad, think about your family so you have motivation with your work, think that you need to give a good life for your family, thats why you sacrifice yours for them.

I agree with you mate cause I myself work abroad. It is very hard to be away from your family especially during those times when there are celebrations and you see all you family and relatives online having fun and you are just alone away from them. It's hard to fight homesickness so what I do is that I go to my other friends sometimes and just enjoy the camaraderie because being alone just sometimes makes our feelings worse. It's good that you have friends to share your struggles and plans as well to be motivated.

There are difficulties in everything. We should just learn to enjoy where we are and what we do. Life is full of adventure and is too short to worry about everything.

Its honestly always been my dream to work abroad in like Korea Seoul.
The city is one of the best ive been to and its out of the world.
The culture there i just prefer so much more and the tech and the girls.
I'm pretty independent and live alright without friends or family.
Thanks for the heads up though
