Hoskinson: Cardano’s Prism will compete with Microsoft, new announcementsIn an interview with Ryan Selkis from Messari, Charles Hoskinson, the inventor of Cardano and founder of IOHK, spoke about the progress of the project, the challenges of the last weeks and the future roadmap. As Hoskinson noted, Cardano had a reputation in recent years for taking a very long time to develop and making no progress.https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/hoskinson-cardanos-prism-will-compete-with-microsoft-new-announcements/

This is another piece of good news that is making CARDANO a really first class project. I really like it when projects come together to work, as opposed to fighting each other as we are all in this together. The Alternative is the current Financial System which is totally rigged and corrupt, or we move forward to a more fairer decentralized global economy. I know the price is retracing now, since the last pump as the market now is bleeding and the big guns are taking all their profits, but I am ready now for staking in August, so am just loading up every few days. I was loading up daily but now we have a falling knife scenario and don't know yet where the bottom is I will wait to see if we drop further before adding to my bag. I also agree that soon enough we will see the price retrace back to the up trend.

Cool stuff, thanks for the heads-up! So we get the incentivized testnet rewards until July 29 (before the hardfork) or we stop receiving them earlier?

I am fairly new to Cardano and I can say these are really exciting times for the entire ADA community out there. The next couple of months will be really awesome if you are holding your ADA because of staking. Hopefully, we will be able breakthrough 1k sats

No, the current ITN rewards are already depleted. (I think since 19th) But all the operators were asked to run the ITN infrastructure for at least another month to work out a plan/roadmap of what to do with the ITN going forward. The ITN is operated solely by the pool operators. They are the only ones in charge, the ones who can decide about it. Theoretically, this network could already now live on forever if the operators want it to. (without incentives of course)

The current version does not have such a coin control feature. Daedalus picks the UTXO automatically based on clever rules to prevent a lot of change and to avoid dust. But you can suggest a feature through the wallet UI if you like to. Daedalus also does not allow you to extract the private keys in a convenient way. (that said I'm sure there are some hacky ways to decrypt the keyfile with your spending password and go from there)

Any idea what's the current transaction per second on CARDANO is? And will the upcoming hardfork play any role in increasing the TPS of the chain?

Why Cardano’s Ouroboros will be a game changing protocol, according to its chief scientistCardano’s proof-of-stake protocol is set to bring about unprecedented decentralization, but the mechanisms that drive it are still a mystery to many. Cardano’s chief scientist professor Aggelos Kiayias dove deep into Ouroboros and detailed the principles on which the ambitious protocol is based on.https://cryptoslate.com/why-cardanos-ouroboros-will-be-a-game-changing-protocol/
