No matter how nice the word scam sounds like it is still stealing. I believed this is one of the vices engaged in my this generation. Everyone one to be rich but none want to work hard.
The truth of the matter is that there is no short cut to hard work but hard life. Anyone who desire success or affluent must work legally for it.

People scam because they are too desperate of having what they do not have and they end up in stealing others valuables for them to satisfy their needs. It is also because of the selfishness of their hearts that provokes them to fool other people.

Why people scam? It is because they carried away from the people by just telling the truth but it is not a truth but a lie and they are trusting wrong people around them and not hearing someone's advice.

Some people  who really doesn't have enough knowledge with the product or services that they are entering are really sometimes just joining or just go with the flow without further investigating about the product that they are entering to especially when their friend earn from it they are easily encouraged.

I think people are scam because they do not have enough knowledge about the project that they are investing money and do not give a little time to read or check the background of the project. so we are not deceived

The main reason is they think it is easy money.It is a human instinct to seek methods to get an advantage without doing any work.Another reason could be that some people our psychologically habitual to hurt others and actually might get some monetary such as cash,coins or other benefits.What ultimately warps a person's morals enough to allow them to scam someone is an answer as unique as each scammer. Your title is a little bit misleading but to answer that, my side is, people scam other people because they don't want to work hard to earn money for themselves. They just want to get an easy money that is why they are doing everything to get the better of other people. To answer your OP, I've seen a lot of those people who begs for money but as I see them, they are perfectly fit and I'm sure they will be able to find a decent job if they put effort into it. It is also the reason why others don't just give money to them if they see someone with a good health and able to work body.

  I think that you do not need to give someone who asks for $ 5, you need to help him find an opportunity to earn this money. But if this person does not want to make money, but prefers to beg further, that's another question. A lot of asking people are just very lazy and do not want to work it easier to ask.

Indeed it will be more than good for him, as if you will give him the demanded money then it will be just a temporary help but if you will give him knowledge then it will be permanent help for him,. Begging has become a disease now which is spoiling our nation and our young generation, which is caused by unemployment and it is the reason people beg and some people become scammer so we need to educate them, I hope it will reduced unemployment and scamming too.

It's like saying why do people rob and steal. Cyber scamming is really no different than breaking into a person's home and stealing money out of their purse or stealing clothes from a store. It's theft and this person is a thief and a criminal. If you really got played then call the police just like you would do if someone broke into your home and stole your money. Print out copies of every email you have from the other person with "full headers" so the IP address is visible.

yes as you stated it people will do scam depending on their ideals. Some ideals are too high that even if they receive such money for themselves they will try to steal some more unlike those beggars or poor enough that only ask for their needs especially for food. I think some people do scam because they tend to be lazy to find job. I know every person has ability to find or to look a job but since not everyone has enough knowledge to or their qualification is not suited on what jobs they want to have as simple as scamming is a easy way to earn money. No need to invest energy, time and money just to earn.

To cheat in this market, they have to be really good. To build an ICO project and to fool people into investing is not easy, they have worked so hard on their projects that they are fooling everyone. So I do not think they are lazy to work, so they go to scam people. They go scam for the profit this market brings is too great. And they cheat in this market they are hardly prosecuted by law.
