stuck at block 1092780 since yesterday, wallet forked on the 9th been trying to resync since then on both windows and linux, been running for an hour and a half this morning restarted 45 minutes ago no blocks downloaded constantly dropping connections (0-3)

this wallets far too high maintenance atm forking or getting stuck every single day.

everything bar wallet.dat has been deleted several times as has resync from snapshot & changes to the nodes list.
Two different machines two different os both have same issue

same situation here for very long time, wallet wont sync even if i add hundreds of nodes. i guess this is the first sign of a dead coin.

★☆★☆★ Check this out : █ █ GET SOME DOLLARS $$$ █ █ ★☆★☆★ usa only ! ★☆★☆★
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Mine too. It wont sync and I even have network time synchronize because some QT wallets need it.
However I will not count it as dead for a little longer.

got it to sync again with this snapshot fine short term workaround until the problems resolved its just frustrating to find my wallet out of sync all the time, to be fair this issues been around for a while it just seems to have gotten worse with the latest update.

on a positive note though its easier for every one else to stake when my 76 mil aren't synced Cheesy

Following the new thread. Everything works fine on my side apart from a transaction I made from my wallet to cryptopia, which hasn't appears yet (10 days now)! Hopefully it will appear soon.

I believe Cryptopia is still updating to the new wallet version. I could be wrong but that could be the reason why you haven't seen your deposit show up on there.

@xenonflux

Do you have a list of all the exchanges that are on the right wallet version and are fully synced up with the right blockchain as I wanted to buy some more 1337 coins but was not sure which exchange is up to date with the right wallet. Thanks!

Hi Vella,

NovaExchange and CoinExchange both are working just fine. BTCPOP should be too but i wasnt able to login due to their server issues.

Thanks xenonflux, Now I can get myself some more 1337 coins however my spare btc and other altcoins such as ltc and doge are on Cryptopia. I was hoping Cryptopia would be ready by now but I guess I'll have to transfer some of of my doge or LTC over to one of these exchanges that have 1337 coin working.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Sorry about the inconvenience. I am sorting few things out in order to embed seed nodes behind the scene to optimize the sync and connections. Long story...stop by for a chat on Discord if you're interested Smiley ...Meantime, best thing to do would be to leave your wallet/computer on to remain synced.

No problem and you can add BTCPOP to the list as i was able to verify this morning. Sorry about Cryptopia, they have already been contacted but i never get any response from them. I guess we'll just have to wait.

Okay thanks mate, I'll check that one out as well. I've never heard of BTCPOP before today lol so I'll see what its all about. That's okay mate as Cryptopia nowdays seem to be slow at answering support tickets and even getting wallets back up online. They used to be very quick but there support has dropped off a little in recent months. I hope they can get back to where they were a few months ago as Cryptopia is one of my favourite exchanges to use.

Not sure about what you're saying about the dev. Remember, if you're mining it, then that coin can be sold for LTC and/or DOGE, because
1 Sat is more than what they are composed of.    You might have a coin increase in value in DOGE or LTC when it seems it's just staying at
1 Sat BTC.   So it's possible to sell 1337 that is being staked.  Then hopefully you will trade with that profit on something that will also be profitable.

I am really sorry guys for not reading the topic (I am a little short on time) but do I need to download a new wallet? Mine is probably about 3/4 months old. I really like this project tho, I remember the Minecraft server rumours, new logo contests and all. Is there any progress on that, btw?

Yes, you need to download the new wallet, if yours isn't version 1.9.

Not sure what you're trying to get at but if i understand what you're saying right then nothing goes to dev. You buy it, you stake it, simple.

why not release one "in words" ONE ... patch which include the changes @ block / date xyz
..
i dont got the point why for each reward changes some new Mandatory Update is asked.

i see now 7  Fork Times. lets face the reality,  not many exchanges will follow you
when you change the protoV. each x time.

Yeah..i see your point and matter of fact i am looking into that. This was the way velvet was doing so kind of went along with that as i really didnt have time to look into that. I agree.. auto update would be more logical.

oO ? autoupdate ?
you can select the arp similar like the pow reward specified from blockheight....
it make no difference if you select now X % ..  later X % and one day in the future X % via a forktime ..
or preset the changes on xyz ...

it make only sense to use this, when you let user xyz  update allright her client which contains  the new changes which get activated on a later date...

it is simple ..
Hardfork means just that you dont own the rights for the SourceCode
Mandatory means , update is required.

in case of the question :
Q: who`s that fucker
