I bought my first few Bitcoins in 2012; eventually I got around 100 and managed to hold most of them until this point. Yesterday they were stolen from me. Shortly after I made a transaction, I left my PC with Electrum open, I believe there was a key logger waiting for me to type my password as when I returned an hour later, I saw my account had been emptied.

This happened shortly after receiving my hardware wallet (ledger), which I never got round to filling up. Obviously storing £350k(that hurts to type) on my daily computer was a moronic thing to do.

See the transaction here: https://blockchain.info/tx/220caec53bac39cc1a2d2692eecd385bca796fc1a839254ddd622b911344ae97

The Bitcoins were then split and are currently residing at these two addresses:
https://blockchain.info/address/18JCmLzKQoZydXspc6CPwovWVwYtUT7DCx
https://blockchain.info/address/16YiXuw4eaFVvpyhX7mYufwsj77LHrydUx
https://blockchain.info/address/18ZnbD5JQwdEJRwKrb34nXPu7J6pHN1CMR

I know I wont get these Bitcoins back but if anyone knows of a blockchain or malware analysis service or just want to give me advice, I would appreciate it.

For information leading to the recovery, I can pay 3 BTC + 50% of the recovered bitcoins

can you send me the screenshot of task manager running process in your system

maybe we can find that process which resulted in this loss, maybe we can decompile it to find the ip or email which was remotely controling it

but most of these software are not connected to a backend they work automatically

i am hacking expert, i may be able to help you

ninety five bitcoin is such a huge money, i'm sorry for your lost computer is not advisable to store a huge amount of money unless you have a security on that, do you join on any suspicious website that cause of your lost? is someone know your password or someone use your computer theres a lot of hackers now specially if they know that you have a huge of money store on your wallet better have a security bro to avoid loss of money once again.

please please please, do not listen to people who claim to be "expert hackers" because they have no idea what an hacker is.. you can show your task manager and we can check if there's any fishy background process but usually are encapsulated into a "legit" .exe so is not that easy.
Feel free to send me a PM and i can give you some links about some solid tools to check if and how your pc is infected (and i can help you for free, not doing it for your bounty).

this is a blow and grieving with the loss you are experiencing, confusing can also happen like this. hopefully you can track it well.
Once you lose your bitcoin then it is already a loss and you cannot track it because it is impossible to track down a bitcoin address or even the bitcoin itself. The lesson here is to have a great foundation of security of your wallet and bitcoin so you can have more security and you will feel a comfortable life within your bitcoin world. Build security at the same time with your wealth to balance things.

And that is why he is here because he is seeking advise from the experts here.  95 btc is really jaw dropping.  I never had even one of it in my life.  It is really frsutrating to be on that situation.  Nonetheless, I hope some people will be able to help him.  And bad karma will strike back that culprit.

This will set as a reminder for all of us to be more extra carefull whether we have a small or huge amount of btc.

Ohh it's shocking Shocked. How did you lose your big amount of bitcoin? Is it kinda regretting you know? 95 bitcoin is a huge money for us. Do you attack by the scammer? You need to keep your wallet safe from them to avoid that kind of problem. Secured account is hard to hack.

Almost 5 years of holding it and this happens, losing 95 BTC and 120+ LTC is so devastating in your part and with that I can't do anything but let me ask some question that only you can answer to help those other electrum users also just like myself, and other Bitcoin holders that holds theirs with their private keys.

- How many times are you opening your Electrum wallet and LTC wallet in a week or day before it was hacked?
- Beside you who other people got an access into your personal computer?
- Did you open your Electrum wallet to some other computers within those 5 years?
- Did you save your private key online(email, facebook)
- After all those years in cryptocurrency and storing a huge amount of it in a long term why is it the hacker only attacks now?

Maybe you just so confident that you will never be hack but please share some of your possible wrong doings that made before it was done.

Someone like me would have retired with that much of money and it is very careless of you do not keep them safe, I would have transferred them long ago when the price touched even 500$. Sorry for your loss but I dont think anyone could do much about it.

I feel sorry for you loss.

My simple advise what you can do by yourself first.

- Perform full malware scan with some solid antivirus software (AV Tests can be helpful here to find solid one)
- Check what incoming/outcoming network connections are established on your system (Firewall software can be helpful here)

Perhaps your computer is infected with some malware and you may able to detect the root.

Wish you good luck!
