Hello everyone,

Was wondering if someone could help me out with configuring my system. I'm currently starting with a single Asus R9 290. I know it is an older card, but I think it still has some good juice. With SGminer, I'm only getting 4-5 MH/s mining LUX. I think I need to play with settings since the card is only heating up to 65 degrees, yet when mining ether my card ran 10 degrees higher. Any input or suggestions on learning how to play with different mining settings for my card?

Thanks!

This has been answered multiple times here and on Discord.

1. we will not stake our coins.
2. we will not dump our coins.
3. we will have only 1 MM for stabilizing the network

Thanks a lot for the clarification.
Regarding the third point, how do you actually "stabilize" the network by owning that 1 million coins?
IMO Those 1 million coins only add the uncertainty to LUX users that someday the coins will be dumped.

Hey crypto.miner.x actually you misunderstood what MN means.  1 MN = 1 MasterNode.

They will host only 1 masternode to secure the network until the coin has released enough to miners/market that there will be other MasterNodes popping up.

LUX's PoW period will take 30 years considering the block time of 3 minutes and the last number of PoW block which is 6000000

Code:
6000000*3*60/86400/365 ~ 35

Good luck miners.

You will have 30 years to mine this coin Grin

I have a rig with 1 x 480, 3 x 580 and 3 x gtx1070 I would like to use the sgminer for all or at least only the amd cards but always get this error:

[19:40:54] Started sgminer 5.6.1-nicehash-1
[19:40:54] * using Jansson 2.7
[19:40:55] ADL found more devices than opencl!
[19:40:55] There is possibly at least one GPU that doesn't support OpenCL
[19:40:55] Use the gpu map feature to reliably map OpenCL to ADL
[19:40:55] WARNING: Number of OpenCL and ADL devices did not match!
[19:40:55] Hardware monitoring may NOT match up with devices!

someone knows how I deactivate the nvidia with the sgminer so that I can mine (the nvidia also work with the ccminer)
this is my bat file:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://beardedpool.fr:6667 -u LL3JJdoco3nQHFmJYGWN6UrsusoZpgFBpV -p c=LUX
pause

Many Thanks
