The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.

Just something to keep in mind... the total number of new ICO's is increasing dramatically. That number has probably gone up threefold this year vs last year... and the year's not even over yet. More and more companies and projects are throwing their hats into the ring and logically, they can't all be winners. It's a quality over quantity game.

Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017...

Fourth quarter technically started 10/1. Do you mean predictions/ICO's to look out for?

...and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.

The ICO concept is definitely here to stay. Not every ICO will succeed but there are definitely still diamonds in the rough. I'm so sure, I've made a career out of it. There's no going back now Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Ofcourse. I still believe in ICO. Though some ICO are not ending up good. But there are still ICO which are very promising and has future. The reputation of good ICOs was affected because there are so much that was only made to make money. It is really risky to invest but it's worth it if you choose wisely.

ICO's are an innovative way to raise capital and there is a reason that many big-name companies like Kik, Unkirn and others are starting to turn to them to do so. That many are failing doesn't diminish this, there are many companies that seek funding and never receive it, it's usually just not public and visible for all to see. They aren't the answer for everyone but they are wise for some.

Yah ICO can still be good but now you must be super careful with tons of crappy ICOs coming out. Harder to have open faith in ICOs but if you do the correct research you should be okay. Avoid ICOs until this bubble bursts

that is what I plan to do

I earned money with all ICOs so far. Well, some are not on exchange yet and I'm holding some of them because I believe in their long term success, for example Blackmoon Crypto.
I made profit on Billionaire Token, Viberate and few more that I don't even remember the name anymore Smiley
But not all ICOs are profitable and there are also many scams. You have to do research, valuate if their price for one token is appropriate (calculate total market cap if they sell all coins and decide whether you think the project is overrated or is it really worth that much) and try to catch bonuses.
If the project is good, than you won't need big bonuses, but if you are early enough to get huge bonuses like 60%, than you can make profit even if the project is not sustainable on the long run. But you can still dump the tokens because you bought them cheaper.

But a lot of people are learning from the past experience about the ico, this time many projects in the competition to offer the revolutionize idea to the investors and thus investors can try to choose what the kind of ico that makes them all interesting to invest in.

Why not believe? The significant amount of projects looks promising, so if you have your own mind, there's a lot of possibilities to choose right ones. I made some profit that is okay for a newbie, so in future will try harder. It takes so much time to differentiate good ones from scam but with experience I hope this will be less complicated.

Can you expect cryptocurrrencies business can run without ICO, It is just like a trial period , yes trial period.
People are not going to jump and through money in this business ,without ICO 50% promoters will no longer be in this business,  so I think ICO  is most essential part of this business.   Will not be different type of traders will die out of cryptocurrencies,  it is the only free money which is risked in trading with different types of coins otherwise who is going to waist time and money , every one knows "Money Makes the Mare go "

It is hard to say yes and no, but we always have to consider the risk in participating ICO's, it caused us money and its not joke. We have to be cautious in participating ICO's and research more and more if its really not a scam.

I still believe in ICO's. There are still many ways that ICO can be re-established a truly successful fund-raising avenue. There are still many good projects that must be realized. We must work together in support of ICO. But behind all that, the founders of ICO must participate in reducing the procurement of ICO is not qualified and scam.

Yes definitely i still believe in ICO. For some many reasons most ICO failed because of lack of investors , and poor advertisement of their project. But most ICO also have finish successfully. And on the other hand some ICO are scams. In order to be successfull in ICO , together with the team and all who supports must work dedicatedly to achieve its goal.

Nothing big has happened with the ICO. Recently China made  step forward in regulating it, as more projects were getting into existence as well some are going as scams Dur to the lack of funding, promotion as that's mentioned in the above quote. It's just a platform that is part of growing technology, so I do believe in it.

I definitely believe in ICO right now as there is a lot of hype about it. Ethereum, neo all start off as an ICO and look at where they are now. You can potential gain like x100 or even more profits. So imagine, you put in only $1000 but you gain like $100,000. And there is great projects doing ICO. Like kyber, omg, cindicator, 0x, tenx, raiden, everex, chainlink etc, where all these are great companies.

I noticed a trend with ICO's these past few days. There's been a lot of talk of regulation.

It seems like those that work with the law have a bigger chance for survival in the future. The nature of ICO's is that they're very short term and dependent on the laws of each country.

Well since Japan has started the trend of banning ICO, a lot of country like South Korea and Russia also decided to put a end to it. So if you or your company is planning to put a crowdsale, so better be in a country that allowed or somewhat lax on regulations. Countries like Japan or Switzerland or Sweden is a safe haven. But I still believes on ICO though, not all of them are rally being established to outright scam people, there are some who really took took and became successful and didn't ran out of investors money. So we need to be careful which ICO are we going to invest and make the proper investigation before depositing and investing your hard earned money.

Yes there are still a lot of promising ICO's coming out but whether or not you should invest in the project pre-ICO is a topic of much debate.
Now there are more and more ico's that hit the markets with lower prices than people pay for the ICO's
You will just need to o the proper research and figure out if they are worth it or not.
