What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ?

I think you can also add the facebook because it has one of the big number of  user and it is where lots of advertisement are post. I will also go in this forum because this is i think the best place to promote an ICO.

Telegram is the best to gain awareness. Investors spend most of the time on telegram and its easy to navigate between groups and search information.

FB is a strange one. There are so many "fake" facebook accounts used in bounty programs that I am not sure they actually bring in any business.

That said a genuine FB account is an excellent medium.

I'd say telegram and twitter. Slack used to be good but I hear there are many scammers nowadays. The good thing about being on a telegram and slackchannels is that you can ask questions directly to the developers. twitter reaches out to more people faster, I get a lot of information instanlty (like updates on projects, meetings developers had with politicians or keycompanies etc).

Most of the above mention social media are good for the promotion of ICO, though for me, the best among them are bitcointalk.org followed by twitter, Telegram and Reddit. With this social media you are covered with your advert or campaign reaching the right people that will invest in your project.

In my opinion, all the platforms that you have mentioned are quite good for promoting an ongoing or upcoming ICO, I am not too sure about slack since I haven't used it for a while.

However, this forum should be the first on your priority list, since it has a lot of crypto enthusiasts. Your project will quickly get recognised and you will quickly build your own community on the forum, bounty campaigns for all the other platforms will run here.

Telegram and reddit also quite good when coming to cryptocurrency related content, you can also build a communuty out of these two platforms.

Lastly, Facebook and twitter which are also good but lack crypto enthusiasts, since the content is somehow general. They are good in the sense that you are able to boost your posts to reach a larger number of audience. However, I believe that the above mentioned platforms inter connects somehow.

I will choose to promote ICO in bitcointalk. Everyone here are target audiences who are interested in crypto.

Reddit is the other platform I will choose, there are plenty of sub Reddits where you can advertise in.

I promote via facebook, twitter, and this forum. It's enough to advertise anywhere else in the social and they will get their ICO be popular to others. I'll share the ICO into my social media account and tell everybody on what benefits they can get but no one cares about it. I know know why maybe they're not interested about cryptocurrency or maybe they think it is not trusted and legit.

Dude, go to as many as you can. Do not limit yourself if you wanna get maximum profit for your time investment. Do not waste opportunities. Engage on as much social media platforms. Because you won’t know what the next job wants. So it is good to have a lot of variety. Goodluck.

Bitcointalk is the platform of choice when it comes to crypto! This is where it all started. Bitcointalk will always be there for crytos and ICOs! Facebook is also gaining traction as per followers and investors. There are Billions of people on facebook, having 1% of those people will be positive for crypto!

as much as I know, facebook offers pretty cheap ads that would reach a lot of people and even one simple post in some group there can be fine too. I don't know about twitter and other ones because I don't use them at all, but I do know for facebook and I'm getting ICO ads all the time.

Facebook should be on your list too if you are asking for social media. There are lots of fb groups dedicated for cryptocurrencies and many have benefitted from promoting ICOs there. Even I myself use it to promote ICOs that I've invested into especially if the referral program reward is good. I'm not an expert but I have witnessed how powerful facebook is in advertising almost anything. In fact, online selling in fb is rampant because they saved a lot from renting place, utilities and employees but most especially they get away from taxes, lol!
