A guarantee that bitcoins will be banned throughout the world there is growing demand for the cryptocurrency. As bitcoin will increase its capitalization, it can become the main tool for attracting investment into the country. Attempts to ban will be but this is only to get control over the users.

We can't be sure but frankly their decisions don't matter anymore. Bitcoin is an unregulated independent currency native to the internet. Coding is a language and you can't stop free speech.

if bitcoin becomes illegal in all countries surely everyone who invests large amount of money in bitcoin will be panic especially the bitcoin miners who have spent a lot of funds for a mining tool will be at so much loss, I think bitcoin won’t be illegal in every country because bitcoin is a technology where we can use a digital money able to transfer to all countries without tax and fast transfer process, bitcoin is just an advanced technology aided by a blockchain system so it won’t break the law of a country if one doesn’t misuse this technology

is bitcoin really an illegal digital money? I don’t think so, bitcoin is not an illegal digital money maybe bitcoin isn’t accepted by some countries because it’s not taxable in transaction and goods with no tax won’t give any profits for a country, because of all the countries in this world rely on taxes to earn profits to build the country to become more advanced.

It has been legalized already in some countries, for example, in Japan, it is impossible to prohibit the crypto currency, since it is impossible to prohibit the Internet.
You are right, that bitcoin is already legalized in some countries, but not all countries yet, maybe it will be a problem if bitcoin price will increase more and more in some countries which they have a poor economic, like some developing countries. Personally, In most of cases, I don't think that bitcoin will be banned. How exactly would increase in price of Bitcoin turn around to become a problem for poor countries? On the contrary an increasing Bitcoin is a blessing to third world and developing countries, because all jobs and services are based on world class rates, so that someone from India for instance get paid same rate as those from the U.S. and on remitting it, the Indian would have so much more of Rupee. Given such awareness, it would matter less if governments choose to ban Bitcoin or not, it's a lifeline and people are hooked to it for life.

They cannot ban bitcoin, because it is currency in the Internet. If they ban exchanges we would use decentralized ones. It is impossible to completely ban bitcoin.

They can't ban bitcoin but they could ban exchanges. That would have a big impact on the whole market, especially if the US government banned say coinbase, bittrex, and polinex. I'm sure we would adapt and just use decentralized exchanges but still, it would have an impact.

maybe we should more often to spread positive news about bitcoin in order to be accepted in all countries but that will be a little difficult, because most people in this world are faster to believe in negative news than the positive news , bitcoin actually has a good advantage to improving the world's economy but it just the governments of a country are a lil’ bit afraid of bitcoin, afraid it can disrupt the stability of country's financial system and many people in the country are turning to digital money rather than paper money.

Many big company in the world are getting towards bitcoin now amazon is also starting accepting bitcoin as a payment method and google is also taking interest in it. There is a huge amount of profit for the people in the country and also to the countries it self. by studying at all the advantages and disadvantages I can say that bitcoin will become more and more popular in the world in coming future there are very less chances of bitcoin getting banned in most of the countries because it has very interesting facts which people need for growth of there economy. Hi, First of all, I am a holder, and Bitcoin is for me is an investment, I intend to hold for at least 5 years, so the question asked in the topic title is the last thing in the world I want. That being said, with China, and now this rumor about Russia, I have to ask this question: how do you deal with the possibility that one day Bitcoin could be illegal in most countries? Is it a possibility? It is likely/unlikely?
All opinions are welcome.
Regards.
It is unlikely that most countries will ban bitcoins. Investment wise, many countries have already took bitcoins and other crypto currency, a thought. Many big personalities have been speculated to also invest in bitcoins. The market today demands highly on bitcoins. This would make the country think first before doing any decision.

Its impossible to ban the bitcoin in all country. Because there's one country who made thw bitcoin and im sure about that. If no country create the bitcoin then why as of now the bitcoin is alive ? Im sure that the givernment of that country is make a way to sure the bitcoin can't destroy This makes somehow makes sense. Because these kind of cases isn't rarely to happen in fact it mostly happen in a lot of stuffs. Lets make Marijuana an example, it's existence is considered not just ban but rather illegal in most countries but there are some that makes it legal to use due to its good effects from which bitcoin has a lot of. Anyway, if bitcoin is ban on every country then it's value will just go down but will never be worthless because it will still be use on P2P transactions.

Well, you haven't been listening to Jamie Dimon. He may be vehemently against Bitcoin, but what he is saying is not total non-sense. Governments like to control money, know who has it and how it is moving. Bitcoin undermines all this.

There are countries are pronihited on bitcoins. Some of them are in the 3rd world country, look at the 1st world country why they keep on spreading bitcoins and cryptocurrencies this is why its a big massive adoption happening right now. i think other countries will adopt bitcoin nor banning. they should study or read the whitepaper of Bitcoin.

There is no way to make sure that bitcoin will not be banned by the governments around the world. Instead the chance looks higher because the governments will be forced by the organized financial sector companies. Banks and lenders are already identified bitcoin as a threat to their business and that's why JMP chief Jamie and an African bank released the statement that "bitcoin is scam". I think some more countries will follow suit. However, it is impossible for the governments to ban bitcoin completely. People k now about many techniques to bypass that ban and will continue to use bitcoin and other crypto currencies as per their wish. So I don't see a big reason to worry, at least as of now. However, if the governments start taxing on bitcoin transactions instead of banning it, it will make more sense and both parties will be benefited.

Sureity in investment would mean you know the future. Who knows the future? The best a man can do is make educated guesses when investing. A good question to follow the opeining question is, where to find quality information about Bitcoin? The answer to this question will help you make an educated guess on the future of Bitcoin. I will give you a hint. You are member of it.

We must remember that there is power in the world, which can cancel any laws and generate any decision. As a result, even when bitcoin is banned in a given country, if there is a sufficient number of people who are against this decision they can surely change the situation.

I am not an optimist and i think that sooner or later this will happen and we have to be prepared. This hit the bitcoin price for sure, but i don`t think that it will damage the blockchain that much. Bitcoin will continue to exist in the darknet, but the btc price will be way too low. The good news is that bitcoin supporters can be found in most of the governments of the western countries,so they might try to stop such mass ban. Oh come on, brother! You have got me frightened there! Bitcoin is my only source of money right now. You cannot just go around claiming that it will happen sooner or later. Let us have faith in it and what happens, let it happen. Let us just think of the present and what it is giving to us. In my opinion, I do not bitcoin will be banned by many countries. Look at Japan, it has accepted it. And some countries do not care about bitcoin, and some are trying to legalize it through a various set of rules. I do not think that bitcoin will cease to exist.
