I think this is a no-brainer positive development. The key thing is that it’s not online dating—it’s online meeting people followed by in-person dating. I think the term “online dating” is part of the problem and makes people who don’t know much about it think it refers to people forming entire relationships online and only meeting in person much later.
Simply considered as online meeting people, it makes a ton of sense. I’ve already expressed my argument for why in two posts: one on how critical it is to find the right life partner and how seriously we should take that quest, and another on why going to bars is a terrible life experience.

Is it better or worse than before it was introduced?
I've never used a online dating app, but I have had a girlfriend that I met on the internet through a friend of mine. Introduced us on Skype, lol. We were dating like a year. |

It's a good opportunity to meet and get in contact with others.. I think it won't stopp real life dates but online dates are great to make a first contact

My friend met his soulmate on online dating. So i wouldn't say it's not working. But even if you didn't meet your soulmate you can still have friends from many places.

I can not say that online dating is better or worse. It is up to people who come together. I know several couples who meet on internet and they are happy now. There is also short term relationships in which people meet online. |

Im not against the online Dating, but im not pro of it. There pros and cons for everything especially if it requires attention and affection. Well, we are living in a illenial phase that almost everything can be instant. It does work out to some you just have to completely know your future partner and dont rely much on dating apps.

I think online dating doesn't really work too well,
For me it is just for fun or flirt it is really hard to trust anyone nowadays .
Just think about this people tend to cheat ,Even those who are seeing their partner gets cheated so do you still think that online dating is real?

It is really hard to find a serious one in the internet so online dating for me it is just a waste of time specially if you are looking for a serious relationship,
You should try to go out and find out someone meet them personally ,
Sometimes even when you are in a relationship and you are seeing each other everyday there are still some people who tends to cheat so what more when you are in a relationship from someone who you just met online,Don't you think that they are the ones who are more capable of cheating because you couldn't really be there to find out.

Online dating is a call of modern society, it's efficient as it knows no border. The big problem with online dating, maybe 90 percent of people, especially guys is just looking for sex partner and not really to have a lasting relationship. But hey, there are very few you met their future spouse in the site. Well, happy searching, just be carefull, there are so many scams as well in online dating.

It involves less heartbreak than real dating, and perhaps the individual will be better prepared for future relationships.However, in marriage and long term relationships it proves to be very difficult because of the distance and trust issues. Some couples do meet the people they dated online, but I know more cases of failed online relationships. It's good as an introduction, especially if the person lives near. If the person lives in a different country or state it's a whole new thing.
