Whatever happens I am sure that cash will never extinct, this is because the cash transaction is still the most important and the main thing for the transaction, because we can not rely on internet for transaction, if internet problem then it is impossible no transaction.

I think not all countries will stop using cash money. For certain countries cash money is still very useful and must be used, Perhaps the country that will remove cash money is a country that has been able to grow and have confidence in crypto or other virtual currency.

Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

I don't think they will succeed in terminating cash in their country... just think if you buy goods for a price of 2$ would it be wise to open your account on the net just to pay? How about it theirs no available net on your area? how r they going to handle that?

it's quite impossible to abolish totally the cash system that we have today. Not unless they implan a chips on human body and every time they made a transaction they just scan the chip or just tap it with something and transaction would be completed. That I think is less hassle.

cash will never be extinct in the presence of bitcoin, because cash in its use does not need internet network, while bitcoin in its use is highly dependent on the internet network. because not all of us in every country have internet network and can use and have knowledge about internet. for that is the internet social problem that convinces me that cash will never go extinct in the presence of bitcoin.

Cash will disappear in the next 10 years around the world. I hope that along with paper money will disappear and digital but will remain only crypto-currencies

Cash will never be extinct since everyone is exchanging bitcoins for fiat. A lot of people here in this forum are earning bitcoins to sustain their basic needs and the excess money will be saving to hold and expecting that in the next years the value of bitcoin will massively increase.

I don't think so. Fiat has been playing a big role over the crypto world wherein it helps people to get access or be able to use their money on buying stuffs that cannot be paid through bitcoin alone. Fiat has been here for a very long time already and I don't think it's necessary to think that fiat will be extinct soon instead we should just keep on supporting both.

No, cash will not be extinct but if the government will implement the use of cryptocurrency in that certain place there will be chance that cash will be extinct, in places that cannot be reach by internet its hard for cash to be phase out, because how can those people transact business without cash, if there is no even electricity in that area,

With electronic money, the transaction can take place quickly and accurately whatever amount of money transacted. Financial records are also automatically recorded in the associated banks, things are not likely to occur in a cash transaction.

I think even if Sweden would plan to not use cash in the future, even if other countries would also follow, it will not totally render paper cash unusable for everyone especially for those countries that are still growing. Cash had been part of our society for centuries so it would take quite some time before it becomes irrelevant and replaced.

indeed to realize something new is something that is not easy because the thinking of each person is different and people have their own principles.
so there is an easy to invite but of course there are also people who are very difficult to be invited and even tend not to want

I think cash is the identity of a country, so in my opinion, eliminate the cash means eliminating one of the identity of the country.

possibly, but i really doubt that cash will be extinct. nowadays everything works in instant so its possible that we adopt to that technology and make the the cash we use as a digital cash, less hassle, safe and secure just make sure its Blockchain based otherwise I'm not interested.

If cash will be become extinct in the future this doesn't matter anymore. It is only mean that we are already at the highest level of advance way of living, where every traditional way of man's pattern to live is already gone. People are enjoying the advance technology, the security, the convenience lifestyle, I think this is the ultimate dream of many inventors and scientists, they are very much excited to see their success that brings great change to humanity.

If other countries follow a Swedish country that lays off cash of course cash will be extinct slowly. As more and more people lay off the cash, the fate of cash can be threatened. But I'm not sure this can happen. Because we all definitely need cash for our lives every day. So I'm sure the cash will last forever.

If and only if the execution of a pure non fiat country policy is successful, also let's not forget the other factor which is how strong the hold of these banks is on the country. Then again, if crypto currency become a stable universal currency then I'm guessing fiat will be a thing of the past. Then again, it will takr a long time im sure.

I think that it will take a lot of time to reach this point of disappearance. the government just won't allow to throw the local money, money and to accept digital currency. people use money as a payment method in transactions. also it would be difficult to adjust their delivery of bitcoin or any other altcoin for shop and the market.
